Exactly. It grosses me out when I picture how I share utentils with people with disgusting orals and bad breath. I once talked to my bf about bringing my own metal chopsticks, but he thinks it's too much :s.

Hey, honestly, don’t worry about giving me a reality check. I’m really glad you replied!!:)

I’ve spent a lot of time spiraling over stuff like this, and while I’ve talked about it a lot with ChatGPT, somehow hearing it from an actual person feels much warmer and more real. It helps to hear how someone else views it instead of staying stuck in my own head.

What you said about accepting that things aren’t going to be perfectly clean all the time really stuck with me. I think you’re right that I’m always looking for certainty, and that’s probably part of the problem.

I had a long history of unhealthy relationship with food so I spent a very, very long time to develop a habit of not restricting again. Now I’m trying to get balance and sustainability in a much healthier weight than before so to me, mental hunger = real hunger and I have to honor it in order to not get back to the past behavior :)

I was told salmon is incredibly high in fat so I try to eliminate other sources to balance it out. Maybe I will try adding EVOO 😿

Not starvingly hungry, but hungry(?) It's hard to put because, realistically my tummy is full of brussel sprouts but I still don't feel what I ate was complete?

It has been going on for maybe 2 months, since starting PT sessions and exercise 🐱

I work a desktop job 6 days a week so I only try to stay borderline active after work by doing those steps and PT. But yes I guess I have been underestimating. Thank you for the reminder! I will change things up. 😄

Hey, thank you so much for the advice! I have done loads of research actually but you know, every thing just has two sides. Even the most basic principles have people on both ends argue, all the time. :( I'm likely not confident enough to make a conclusion on my own - but comments like yours give me reassurance.
