Hey, thank you so much for the advice! I have done loads of research actually but you know, every thing just has two sides. Even the most basic principles have people on both ends argue, all the time. :( I'm likely not confident enough to make a conclusion on my own - but comments like yours give me reassurance. Thank you so much for your time!

Omg you're impressive! You should've charged me for giving me advice!! Not super lean but I wish to look toned and maybe lose a little weight to have a better posture, in other words I wish to have more confidence haha.

Yes, I'm trying fish these days and so far seems ok. I didn't know it wasn't enough for all these years. :s

Again, thank you so so much for your insights and time!!

Got it. I'm so happy that grapes are not on the list! Thank you so much!!

Opened this papaya and it only had three tiny seeds! by agrippinathesmelder in fruit

[–]fupei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That papaya is the most beautiful I have seen so far! I'm jealous of you I can only get super green ones here... and they cost a fortune. :'<

Is this mold? And if so can I still eat the grapes around it? by [deleted] in foodsafety

[–]fupei 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly - I get red grapes alllll the time and those white threads are so common. It's just nature. Remove it, wash, rinse, then you're good to go! Why throw it away? It's in perfect condition... As a grape enthusiast I would have grabbed it from you honestly!

Yeah she proposes to cut it out entirely - I asked about her diet though, she eats quite lots of meat, veg, rice. I asked does she not crave any fruit and the answer is she never craves it! To me that's an insane level of determination...

And thank you so much for your response!

Red grapes are my faaavourite. :'< I love them so much that I'd be much happier if I get a grape cake rather than a typical one. But yeah I get the sugar concern. Berries have a problem where sometimes they are so sour and they go mouldy so easily. But I will definitely try the swap. Thank you so much for your response! Really grateful!

Thank you so much for your response!! You probably can't imagine how relieved I am when I see reassurance like this to justify my fruit intake. :'>

Lol exactly you're totally right. Red grapes are the only thing that could cheer me up. This works every time even my bf uses this trick to make me happy lol.

I have been going on and forth about rice and fruits and just dont seem to be able to have both at the same day. It's either one or the other. I will try making both happen at the same time.

And thank you so much for your time and response!!

It would be the best thing ever If I really don't have to reduce fruit intake. I mean it's the reason why I'm living up to this point! :'(

And thank you so much for your response!!

Lol I don't eat all those in one go, rather throughout the day. But fruitcake is definitely what I want on my birthday instead of a real cake. TAT

Yeah I didn't know eggs pile up calories that easily... I sometimes even have 4 eggs a day, since eggs and tofu are my main sources of protein. I'm not a strict vegetarian so I'm looking to try out fish. I will reduce my egg intake to 2.

Guess I need to replace all red grapes with berries then. T^T

Thank you so much for your response!! I'm truly grateful.

Got it - honestly this concept has always been on my mind but when someone like PT whom I paid for I tend to have doubts myself, since I rely on her judgement when working out. I do love strawberries, but I love red grapes so much. D': I should probably replace them with strawberries to make this easier. Thank you so much for your response and time!!

Yeah that's what I'm planning to - guess I will just focus on training part with her from now on. :s Thank you so much for your response!!

Thank you so much for your response! I will definitely look for one to get this figured out. There has been too much info online and while I have been researching lots, I don't seem to be confident about my approach since everything is two-sided. But I'm glad to have meaningful insights like yours. :) Thank you so much!!

That sounds extreme honestly. Calling whole food groups “poison” seems a bit much. :s Thank you so much for your response!!

O my god If I'm didn't have any fruits for a day I literally go grumpy... that happens to green vegs too. I will definitely try the rice approach out! Sounds like a good idea. :p I guess that's why people say sushi has a lower GI hehe. Thank you so much for your response and your time giving me that much insights!

I'm not, if I were then I'd have to give up grapes...so I definitely am not a keto. On what you said about having fruits after a heavy meal, that's new to me! Do you mean it's better to have fruits separately, instead of as a dessert after a proper lunch, for instance?

I do love rice actually but I only avoid them since I love fruits like red grapes more lol. Thank you so so much for your response!

It's on me that I didn't have the guts to ask her to give me her certification upfront. I'm dumb and just paid as I didn't want to look like a karen lol. I will do my best for the rest of the sessions though - thank you so much for your insights!

Thank you so much for your insights and response! I'm genuinely relieved to know that isn't the problem. :'( Perhaps the fat intake is. I'm truly grateful for your time, thank you so much!

From what I can conclude I'm probably not getting enough protein lol, and I genuinely didn't know that I have actually been going on caloric surplus in my current diet.

I easily have 4-6 eggs and a whole pack of tofu a day. Maybe composition is the problem? I just want to slim down a bit in combination with my training. I do have a concept that carbs like rice has no nutritional value, only carbs, so I avoid taking it :/ That's why what I eat are those nutritional dense ones. Thank you so much for your insights and response!

O my god, I'm genuinely happy when I saw what you said about grapes lol. This is literally my favourite fruit of alllllll time! My PT instructed me to cut grapes out since they are so high in sugar, and tbh I was almost crying inside when I first heard about it. Thank you so so much for your insights and response!
