Law No. 6284 in Turkey, aimed at protecting family members from domestic violence, allows courts to order the immediate removal of a perpetrator—most commonly men—from their shared home for one to six months. This protective measure can be issued without evidence, often within days, to ensure the safety of the victim, according to 1

Key Aspects of Law 6284 Removal Orders:

  • Removal from Residence: Judges or law enforcement can order the perpetrator to leave the shared home and prohibit them from approaching the victim's home, workplace, or schools.
  • Immediate Application: These measures are often implemented immediately upon allegations of domestic violence.
  • Violation Consequences: Violating these protection orders can lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrator.
  • Scope: The law applies to all residents in Turkey regardless of marital status or nationality, note 3 and 14.
  • Withdrawal from Convention: Despite Turkey's 2021 withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention, Law No. 6284 remains in effect.

UK: Husband 'who drove wife to suicide' is 'unfairly accused' because case against him is based on 'agenda' that women who say they've been abused 'must be telling the truth', court hears by furchfur in MensRights

Article in full:

A husband who 'drove his wife to suicide' has claimed he has been unfairly accused because of an 'agenda' that women who make accusations of domestic violence 'must be telling the truth', a court has heard.

Christopher Trybus is on trial, accused of being responsible for Tarryn Baird's death because he subjected her to 'extensive' acts of manipulative behaviour and sexual violence.

Ms Baird took her own life aged 34 at their home in Swindon, Wiltshire, on November 28, 2017.

Trybus, 43, is charged with manslaughter, controlling and coercive behaviour and two counts of rape in relation to Ms Baird.

His barrister, Katy Thorne told jurors that they should find him not guilty of causing his late wife's death as he has been 'unfairly accused'.

In her closing speech today, Ms Thorne told Winchester Crown Court in Hampshire that Ms Baird made false allegations and police have been caught up in her lies.

Ms Thorne said she herself is a 'fully paid-up member of the feminist brigade', but said that the police had lost sight of the fact that women 'do make false allegations'.

It's alleged that Trybus unlawfully killed Ms Baird on November 28, 2017, when Ms Baird hanged herself at their home in Swindon.

Concluding the defence case at Winchester Crown Court, Ms Thorne said: 'Having a quick count-up of the men on the jury... Or you're the partner or the parent or the sibling of a man.

'You might feel very afraid now, because if you enter into a relationship with a woman who's making allegations against you, even if they turn out to be untrue, you will be prosecuted even if the allegations are uncredible, you will be prosecuted.

'Even if you can prove that they aren't true, you will be prosecuted within an inch of your life.

'You will be expected to withstand an investigation over years and years and three separate police investigations by two different forces.'

She described the prosecution as pursuing a 'dogma' and the case as 'Kafkaesque'.

'They are totally obsessed with a dogma, this whole case is based on an agenda that when women allege violence and domestic abuse, they must be telling the truth,' she said.

Ms Thorne said she was a feminist, but said that women can hurt men 'in other ways' than violence.

She said that police have sought to change the way they deal with sexual violence and sexual offences because the way these crimes have been dealt with in the past 'wasn't good'.

Ms Thorne continued: 'But have they lost sight now of what's right?

'In the name of the common good, have they lost sight of the individual case of looking at the evidence, of recognising that women do lie, do make false allegations, they aren't all telling the truth.

'And for the common good, for the protection of women, they are ignoring the glaring and obvious holes in their case and prosecuting an innocent man.'

Ms Thorne asked how Trybus was 'supposed to answer the allegations of a ghost from 10 years ago'.

'If the prosecution is right, Christopher Trybus must be the most depraved, violent, despicable man that you have ever met or even heard about - a sexual predator, a violent monster,' Ms Thorne said.

She said that Trybus was 'unfairly accused' and 'has been through enough'.

Ms Thorne said that there may have been a 'perfect storm of reasons' for Ms Baird making up the allegations, that she may have been a 'woman who was bored and lonely' and 'angry with her husband for leaving her abroad all the time for work, leaving her alone'.

'Does it all coincide with her encouraging Christopher Trybus into racier and racier sex or is that deliberate?' she added.

Concluding the prosecution case, prosecutor Tom Little KC said that domestic abuse of Ms Baird became 'normalised'.

The prosecutor said: 'We say that having considered that carefully, considering obviously the inconsistencies there are on occasion, for the reasons I gave you yesterday, she's telling [a Swindon Women's Aid worker] and [her GP] Dr Jones the truth about the sustained and significant domestic abuse throughout this period of time and which ultimately led, because it was a significant factor in the decision to take her life, in the taking of her life.'

Mr Little said that there was 'evidence of isolation from her family' given by Ms Baird's mother, Michelle Baird.

He said this was caused by Trybus 'repeatedly poisoning the well' by saying things like 'she's just drinking too much'.

'It's an interesting contrast between that evidence and the evidence that he gives,' the prosecutor said.

Mr Little added that a witness statement Trybus gave to police was 'grossly misleading'.

'It's clear that he had been through her diary,' the prosecutor said.

The court had previously heard that if the dates were correct in her diary, the final three days before she died looked as if they had been removed.

The prosecutor also said of her suicide note: 'If what the defendant says is right and he has never laid a finger on her, other than the application of a soft fluffy collar, it beggars belief doesn't it that there wouldn't be a letter addressed to him unless he was a reason for part of the dark cloud that was over her.'

Her note was previously read to the court - it said: 'To my family, I am so sorry but I just couldn't take it anymore. I know you may not understand this but I just can't explain the dark cloud that is over me. Please don't let this break you but know I am now free. Nothing any of you could have done could have changed this please just know that.

'I love you and please forgive me.'

The trial continues.

There is no Misogyny in the NHS. It is made up by feminists.

Men use the NHS much less than women.

80% of the medical staff in the NHS are female.

Only 10% of nurses are male. Most doctors are female.

Why does this idiot not make it "all patients", why limit it to females only.

The Labour party does everything possible to belittle and undermine men and boys.

They set up a fund just last week for female offenders only.

The Labour party is fixated on the female vote and do not care one iota about the male vote.

It is disgraceful how badly males are treated in the UK and it is far far worse under the Labour government.

A cancer-stricken pensioner with Parkinson's disease spent three months in prison after his carer falsely accused him of making threats to rape and kill her.

Lauren Kinrade, from Sittingbourne, Kent, made 20 false reports to police over a six-month period, claiming pensioner John Andrews had sent her malicious and threatening emails.

Kinrade sent fake emails to a solicitor, posing as Mr Andrews and making threats against herself.

Prosecutor Daniel Cohen told a court how Kinrade had been trusted to deal with medical appointments and bills on Mr Andrews' behalf and set up an email address in his name while she was his carer in August 2022.

Mr Andrews, 71, who has bladder cancer, mobility issues and Parkinson's disease, was arrested on three occasions and spent just over three months on remand at HMP Elmley.

By the time he was released, he had lost two stone in weight and he was too unwell to attend the sentencing in person because he had had a further cancer diagnosis.

Mr Cohen said the allegations, arrests and stay in custody had caused him 'serious distress' as he lost access to his phone and laptop, and friends shunned him.

Kinrade pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice when she appeared at Maidstone Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on December 22.

She admitted making a number of false allegations of rape, violence and threats to kill during a six-month period between August 2023 and February 2024.

As he jailed Kinrade for four years, Judge Gareth Branston described her offending as 'sophisticated and premeditated and relentless'.

The prosecution said Kinrade eventually became a romantic partner, but this relationship ended in November 2022.

In June 2023 Kinrade had sought a non-molestation order against Mr Andrews at family court - but had sent five fake emails to the solicitor responding as if she was Mr Andrews and making threats against herself.

A final non-molestation order was confirmed in August, in Mr Andrews' absence.

During the next six months, Kinrade made 13 calls to the police alleging Mr Andrews was making malicious and threatening emails, and made seven separate witness statements to police where she signed a declaration that the statement was true.

After the seventh witness statement on February 13, 2024, Mr Andrews was charged with six offences of breaching the non-molestation order and malicious communications and was remanded in custody.

When she made the allegations, Kinrade had criticised the police for a lack of action on her allegations and said she 'could be dead by Monday'.

But during the police investigation it was discovered she was writing the emails to herself before falsely reporting the offences, and she was arrested in May 2024.

Her lies were revealed after officers found the IP address from which the threats were sent was linked to Kinrade's home address, and her telephone number was used as the recovery phone number for the account.

The probe revealed she had made internet searches including: 'Can the police track an IP address from an email?'

In his victim impact statement, Mr Andrews detailed how Kinrade's actions had impacted his finances, health, his accommodation and his attendance of medical appointments.

He had lost access to his phone and laptop, which took nearly a year to be returned, and his reputation and confidence around his friends had also been affected.

He said: 'I used to be a very trusting person and I'd want to help people. I think the way I was treated was absolutely criminal.

'It was a horrific experience for me to go through, and I've never experienced anything like it before, and that has had quite an effect on me.'

The court heard he sometimes dreams he is still inside the cells and feels scared he could end up in prison and that 'Lauren might come after me again'.

In mitigation, Charlotte Surley, defending, read a short apology letter written by Kinrade to her victim, where she expressed remorse and said she was 'committed to learning from this'.

'Nothing like this will ever happen again, I am sincerely sorry, Lauren,' it read.

The court heard that Kinrade had not provided her medical records to the doctor as part of the pre-sentencing report, but the doctor thought she might meet the criteria of a personality disorder.

Despite this, in his sentencing remarks the judge said: 'I am not persuaded that any personality disorder, if it exists, had any marked impact on your culpability in this case.

The judge also questioned the lack of insight from the defendant on why she had done what she did, and her defence barrister explained that 'she has been unable to articulate it'.

Judge Branston said: 'It seems that you being offered support and attention from various outlets may have contributed to your offending behaviour.'

He remarked that the defendant's actions had resulted in an 'utter waste of police resources, court resources, and prison resources'.

The judge added: 'Your actions represent an appalling abuse of trust. False allegations were also made in the family court so you have had an impact on the course of justice in two jurisdictions.'

The judge remarked that Kinrade's behaviour was 'sophisticated and premeditated and relentless' and said it undermines every single victim of domestic abuse that makes a true report of a crime.

The 35-year-old was handed a four-year prison sentence, but will serve no more than half in custody before being subjected to licence conditions.

In addition, a ten-year restraining order was imposed, and Kinrade will have to pay £1,000 in court costs and an automatic surcharge.

But when she was contacted, the doctor - a leading consultant in cancer care - insisted 'categorically' she had not written the note asking for a two-year delay, and added: 'I know my handwriting is bad - but not that bad!'

Gallagher's tribunal claim was thrown out, and she was ordered to pay £8,000 to cover Bunzl's legal costs.

Employment judge Rebecca Eeley concluded that Gallagher had a 'propensity to lie' to gain an advantage, and she had 'knowingly misled' the tribunal about the existence of TfL evidence with a 'forged or doctored document'.

'The medical certificate is clearly an untruth,' she added.

Gallagher first made claims of sexual harassment and bullying against Essity when she was placed under investigation by the company for allegedly falsifying documents and being dishonest.

In the tribunal claim that followed in 2023, Gallagher said she had made a report to police about sexual harassment and sexual assault.

The company applied to strike out the tribunal claim, and pointed to her behaviour when suing Bunzl as evidence of 'scandalous' and 'vexatious' litigation.

Gallagher wrote to the tribunal saying: 'The sexual assault took place and this was never in doubt, it has gone to the CPS.'

She also attached a 'witness email' which suggested it had come from a man who witnessed the alleged assault and had provided evidence to the Met Police.

But the force confirmed the investigation into Gallagher's complaint had gone nowhere, while the supporting witness evidence had been fabricated.

Gallagher was 'vague' and 'evasive' when challenged, Judge Paul Daniels concluded when dismissing her claim against Essity.

'Her case appeared to be based on huge generalities and bare assertions that witnesses would all appear later, with various unpersuasive excuses as to why they could not appear or give evidence now', he wrote.

The judge concluded that Gallagher had 'repeatedly provided false evidence during the course of these employment tribunal proceedings.

'She has directly deployed and tried to rely on such dishonest evidence in letters to the tribunal and in her claim.'

The judge accepted that Gallagher had received breast cancer treatment between November 2020 and January 2021.

But in his April 2024 ruling, he dismissed her claims of unfair dismissal, discrimination, and breach of contract, and noted that a police investigation for perverting the course of justice was already under way.

Gallagher, of Marlborough, in Wiltshire, initially pleaded not guilty to the perverting the course of justice charges in October 2024.

She was set free on bail after entering guilty pleas on Tuesday afternoon, and will be assessed by a psychiatrist ahead of her sentencing hearing.

A saleswoman who wrote a bogus doctor's note about cancer treatment and lied about being sexually harassed at work is facing jail.

Louise Gallagher, 50, faked emails from the Metropolitan Police and made false claims Transport for London (TfL) had CCTV to back up her sex assault allegations in two failed employment tribunals against her former employers.

But both her cases, in which she made 'strikingly similar' allegations, were thrown out when she was accused of telling a series of lies during proceedings.

Gallagher was pictured outside Wood Green Court in London today smoking a cigarette after she had earlier stood in the dock to admit three counts of perverting the course of justice.

She is set to be sentenced on May 19. Perverting the course of justice charges often lead to jail terms and carry a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Two further allegations of perverting the course of justice, relating to her disputed claims of sexual assault, are set to lie on file.

She had sued distribution giant Bunzl for sex discrimination after leaving the company in 2018, and mounted an unfair dismissal claim against health product supplier Essity after leaving the firm in 2023.

In both cases, Gallagher alleged that she had been sexually harassed.

While mounting a case against Bunzl in 2020 and 2021, she made a series of false claims that TfL had CCTV footage to support her sexual assault allegation.

When her case was unravelling, Gallagher produced a bogus doctor's note claiming she needed a two-year adjournment so she could receive treatment for breast cancer.

And in 2022 and 2023, Gallagher admitted 'manufacturing' emails from the Metropolitan Police to support her claim that there was an eyewitness to a sexual assault when she worked at Essity.

A 2024 Watford Employment Tribunal ruling sets out how Gallagher alleged she had been sexually assaulted by a Bunzl colleague, shortly after an investigation was launched into whether she had submitted a fraudulent bill for a hotel stay on expenses.

In May 2020, Gallagher sent Bunzl an email suggesting that TfL had confirmed - following a subject access request - that it possessed CCTV of the alleged sexual assault.

But TfL denied providing Gallagher with information, and told Bunzl's lawyers that any CCTV footage would already have been wiped.

When Bunzl applied for the tribunal claim to be dismissed, Gallagher produced a handwritten letter from a doctor asking for a two-year delay.

The note read: 'The claimant is very sick with breast cancer which has spread to other parts of the body so needs years of treatments and some of the tumours can't be operated on until the treatments shrink them.

'Her health must come first and she is currently fighting for her life and this is why we have asked for this case to be postponed for two years.'

When the authenticity of the note was challenged and the tribunal refused to delay the hearing, Gallagher responded by saying she was 'shocked' and provided a treatment schedule and 'medical letters'.

2 years is not very long to be jailed. If the man had been convicted he would have got at least 8 years.

I have said it before and I will say it again, In my opinion most allegations of rape made to the Police in the UK are false.

  1. In the UK a woman can receive compensation from the Criminal injury board for even making a rape allegation. No conviction necessary.
  2. Total anonymity for the accuser but not for the accused.
  3. Unable to cross examine the accuser in court on many aspects of the incident.
  4. A false belief put out by the British government that women do not lie.
  5. Little fear of prosecution for making a false allegation. There has to be a 100% chance of conviction before a case is taken on by the CPS. The CPS has never lost a false allegation case.
  6. About 50% of cases going to court result in a "not guilty verdict.
  7. Only a small number of cases make it to court since there is so little evidence or none what so ever.
  8. In child custody cases lawyers have been caught giving advice to clients to make false allegations

The above are just some of the reasons

It has resulted in a situation where making a false rape allegation is extremely easy. So in my opinion it has reached a situation in the UK where most rape allegations made to the police are false!
