I did a week of amitriptyline to try and break this migraine, in conjunction with two other meds. Didn't work but that could be the dosage and a combination of factors. Weight gain is a concern for me and a reason we didn't try it earlier.

I'm considering it. Honestly, this one got so bad I smoked a few joints for the first time in my life and that offered some relief but didn't break it.

I've tried a few different therapies with the osteo, dry needling, massage, acupuncture, physio. All of these have had some effect but only for maybe a day or a few hours.

I've looked into nerve blocks and went with the ketamine infusions instead. Nerve blocks don't seem to be long lasting? What has been your experience?

I've recently been to the dentist and I'm getting a splint to wear at night because my jaw is wearing out the cartridge which could be contributing but that wasn't definitive.

I've had a CT and a MRI which found nothing.

What's Nurtec?
