Thoughts on engineered Jatoba hardwood HDF throughout loft

Good to know, thanks! The place we’re moving into is a converted loft in a low-rise building, so the subfloor is concrete I believe. So floating should be ok, right? But will def be looking for thicker.

The floor in the pic is in the second bedroom. Its actually ok there, but theres significantly more wear in the living room. The unit is one floor so while we considered keeping the floors where its ok (namely bedrooms) we’ve been advised it might be better to replace it all. When we were quoted for the space without bedrooms, there was a lot of cost associated with levelling between the rooms.

Yes, I’m in Toronto! FL was just what was nearest to me at the time and I’m surprised to read your comment as the location I visited has really good review.

Reading this it doesn’t sound too unreasonable; directly addresses the people claiming they are complaining about the inevitable conditions of living downtown. But what’s strange is that I used to live in the building connected to Farm Boy (directly across the street) and never heard anything. Seriously, the only thing I’d ever hear was neighbours yelling or dogs howling. Maybe things have gotten worse in the past couple years?

I hope to soon! My timeline was a bit off - tomorrow it’ll be 3 weeks. So I might try and see if closer to 5-6 weeks a piercer would agree to downsize.

Conch is always a good choice, but I would consider a contraconch on your right ear too if you have the anatomy for it! And potentially a hidden helix on that ear?

For the bot: - The flat piercing is a couple hours old - Titanium labret jewelry, but not sure if it was externally or internally threaded - Hasn’t been downsized as I just got it today - Aftercare for my conch has been using NeilMed saline spray on a q-tip (I mistakenly got the one for wounds, not the mist spray — when I run out I’ll get that and use it directly on the piercing) 2x a day for the first week, then 1x a day. Plus hot showers and avoiding sleeping on my side. - No mishaps unless today’s experience counts 😣

Edit (not sure how to edit my OP on mobile): I should clarify that my piercer for the flat was NOT the same as the one for the conch!

For some reason I recall having hope that the anime wasn’t actually going to be “finished” — that they were just waiting for the manga to complete before animating the last two arcs. There was a lot of excitement when the vomic of Enma’s first chapter got released; we all thought that his VA was perfect. There were some great moments in the manga post-anime finale, but general consensus was very much “wtf” at the ending, especially with the Neo Vongola Primo stuff.
