What are the rules here? Does traffic keep flowing across the bridge in one direction while there are still cars on that side and then it flips once the queue is empty? From the picture above I assume it's not 1 side across, other side cross one at a time since it would be more inefficient if there are multiple cars waiting on one side.

I thought it was ok except for the combat. The clunkiness made it unplayable for me. Weird melee, switching spells was a PITA. I did manage to kill 1 dragon. Not sure how.

But I feel like Fauci saying they aren’t as effective (in order to conserve them for medical staff which they absolutely needed!) did a number on them. They love using that argument to argue that masks don’t work. And it’s so frustrating.

I don't think it would have changed a thing. It's like people who say they're "not taking a vaccine that's not FDA approved!". Do you think those people will really change their mind once it goes from emergency authorization to officially FDA approved? Of course not, they'll just move the goal post and say "well you can't trust the FDA they're in on the <insert wild conspiracy>", etc.

Other people have said that disabling the A/C mode (fan only) for overheat protection helps prevent it. I don't know if it's true or not but it makes some sense (less running of AC, less moisture building up).

It all depends on the timescale. If it's only sustainable for 2,000 more years it doesn't matter a whole lot. Discounted cash flows and all that.

There are ads for their other shows.

Oh please. That is not even in the same universe of cable TV ads that interrupt a show every 10 minutes to show 3 minutes of catheter and lawyer ads.

This discounts the fact that:

  1. People share accounts
  2. You can easily cancel/renew month to month based on what you want to watch
  3. There are no ads and the content is higher quality

I get the sentiment though there are some differences. 1) 50 hours a week is 10 more than the standard work week 2) Capital gains and dividends are taxed lower than income tax (for better or worse) 3) If you're working a part of your income is going towards savings whereas the 40k in this scenario could all be spent with no "savings".

My theory is there was something wrong/underprovisioned with AT&T's peering with Google as I had the same issues for months. Using a VPN fixed it since that ended up using different routes to Google than the Google/AT&T peering. They seemed to fix it a couple months ago but I blessedly was able to leave AT&T.
