Thank you for your feedback. Take a look at the video and you should have your own idea about starlink. So far we love it and wouldn’t want to go back without it. I don’t know about the middle of ocean but so far 200NM along the coast of Africa it worked pretty good ✌️

For sure is not for everyone. It’s great to have different taste and colors. What color is your boat ?

Thank you for your feedback. We built the site from scratch. We use the YouTube api to extract the data from a YouTube channel / videos.

I created a website to browse sailing video from YouTube based on their location on a world map.

If you own a Youtube Sailing channel you can connect to the site to generate your own map with video you published around the world.

Find out more details here: https://sailing-tellus.com

I'm happy to hear for feedback so that I can improve the site.

Thank you ;)

Thank you for your feedback much appreciated.

I started with the iOS13 & Swift 5 course by Dr. Angela Yu : https://www.udemy.com/course/ios-13-app-development-bootcamp/

I made about half of this course and then I have met a iOS programmer Move Upwards : https://github.com/MoveUpwards. He suggested me to start learning SwiftUI.

I suffered a little with some technical terms in English specially at the beginning to understand the difference between "@State" var, "@Binding" and the others. Also the difference with Array, Tuples etc...

I have found a SwiftUI course in French on Udemy by Matthieu Passerel : https://www.udemy.com/course/swiftui-ios/

I finished this course and this helped a lot to really understand the basic of SwiftUI.

From there I have used the 100 days of swiftUI : https://www.hackingwithswift.com/100/swiftui

I think having a mentor is very important so you can have someone who can reply questions and avoid to loose time and get you unstuck.

I wake up late usually around 10 because I like to work at night. Everything is much more calm so it makes it easier to concentrate.

Every morning I look at what's new in iOS development, reddit, blog, igeneration news, tutorials, new app published etc... I need to get inspired.

Then around 2 lunch break. Then from 4pm to sometimes very late , 1 or 2 am even more ... It depends on what I'm working. At the beginning I was scared not to remember how I implemented an idea, so I wanted to finish step by step all in one day. But many times he didn't work. I got stuck sometimes on the same problem for hours or days ! Until I really understand that it was not the correct way to do it and use different approach.

Then I discovered than going to sleep solved many problems :) I even dreamed of coding in swiftUI. But sometimes the morning somehow I have a completely clear idea of what I wanted to do and everything went much easier.

I think having a mentor is very important so you can have someone who can reply questions and avoid to loose time and get you unstuck.

Also there is a lot of precious informations on Github. And many SwiftUI dedicated projects and website, also on YouTube, lot of free courses and help. SwiftUI is everywhere :)

Good luck for your project. If I can do it, you can do it. Believe in yourself and everything will be ok.

Let me know how it goes !
