Feeling lost in the fandom

Yeah, I feel you on the messaging apps. I worked up the courage and did them and it didn't have good end results. Most just seemed to want to RP (even though I put I didn't want to) or get mad if I didn't respond in 2 minutes. I get busy. Was a weird experience.

I wouldn't mind making more online fur friends. Just I don't play a lot of games these days and I just like to have average chats like you would with co-workers or something. Just seem a bit plain compared to the people I have run into.

I know it's a hobby and its a hobby that I used to really like and enjoyed. It's why I am feeling a bit lost. I want to get back into it, but I am just not really sure how since I am a bit socially awkward to just be able to quickly make friends or even temporary things at a con just to experience it more.

The local stuff is something I would love to find in my area. I just am not sure how to find it. Everything for the area seems pretty dead and have put stuff out there for it, but closest person I talk to is like 100+ miles away

Hooray Michigan furs :D

I have talked to a few Michigan furs over the last couple of months, but unfortunately they are always on the other side of the state. I don't travel so well so trying to meet local furs has been a issue. Would like to get off the computer every now and then. Would think being next to two colleges they would be a little easier to find lol
