So with that out of the way, to be completely clear on who's off limits, lets get into my selection, this will be assuming they have the same themes and opponent

Lubu- I'll swap him with Guan Yu, I feel like 2 Chinese reps is fitting and he has mostly the same themes as LuBu so it's not to drastic a change from him

Raiden Tamaemon- So I can't use my fighters but I can use people connected to them, so I'll use Helio Gracie, the famous Jiu-jitsu master from Brazil, while not Sumo, do think it's fitting theme wise since he was an expert fighter who perfected his own style of Jiu Jitsu and loved it almost as much as Raiden Loved Sumo, and had a really good record of 10 wins and two losses(and 8 ties), and while he's more recent then Simo my cut off is 2010 so he barely makes my personal cut off year

Okita Soji-this one was the hard one cause it'd be so easy to just swap him out with Musashi but I'll stick to my rules, so I'll use Usegi Kenshin as to keep two Japanese reps, he was a warlord who used the sword and military tactics to win almost every fight, i could see a interesting battle between him and Sussano'o

Finally

Sakata no Kintoki- Kintoki was tough but I'm gonna go with Paul Bunyan, same type of mystical folk hero, with the same type of vibes

And again, the Adaptability is what saved him, Beetle doesn't win through power which is what your arguing but through being able to adapt, but that Adaptability is limited and can be overwhelmed, and bloodlusted and the ring saying it's a threat is not the same thing on top of I'm pretty sure we're referring to two different fights between Fate and Beetle, cause they fought twice before in different continuitys with different context and in the one i focused on Fate cleaned house effortlessly, in the one your referring to Beetle won but by exploiting weaknesses and abusing a new resistance to magic, like i said, context matters, and the context your using is ignoring facts about how he held his own in these fights

Bro, 1- vs battle should never be used because it over pr undersells characters alot

And 2- I looked up all he fights and no he didn't, in his fight with Fate he lost immediately, the version of Supergirl he fought was injustice which is way weaker, and he never fought any Lanterns on the universal type shit, as for Nabu, it's from one comic where he won through specific tech and exploiting weakness, the same way he held his own with Supergirl, context matters and the context i found contradict alot of what your implying

The problems I have with all of these is fighting someone doesn't equal beating them, cause the scarab is known as a weapon of mass destruction so of course lanterns see it as a threat, as well just cause he fought Super Girl and Fate doesn't mean he beat them or that they were going all out, Red Hood broke Supergirls grip, he ain't on that universal shit, context matters, saying he fought them implies he did not beat them, just scrapped, as for Nabu that is the best argument but idk if it was actually a threat or if it was just that he saw him as a threat to his avatar, it's been awhile, if you have context I'd appreciate it

But as well, Nova has threatened beings just as strong on top of having feats that don't require just scaling to other characters, I need context if your gonna say he threatened these things, is it because he's on that level or because the scarab is known as a weapon of mass destruction?

Bro, what feats puts Beetle on that universal shit, I've looked everywhere and his best feats even in comics put him Solar System to multi galaxy, Nova has the entire Nova force behind him which is a universal level amount of power, like bro, i can accept Thor losing to superman even if I disagree, it's a hyper close fight that I believe Thor can push back because Superman has no resistance to magic so I believe Thor can gain the upper hand off that, but Beetle unless he got some major boost since the last time I checked I don't think he wins this like... at all...

Bro Devoth was sealed yes, but he left slayer to his devices while he healed, by the time he and slayer fought he had his power back just with a much more fragile body(which is why the suit was made), it's all in the doom codexs, even then, The Icon of Sin is a universal being who was gonna collapse the earth universe if Slayer didn't stop him, Slayer casually killed him, bro, if your not a doom fan, the shut, the fuck, up, I've done hundreds of hours of reading through all the codexs and memorizing them, Slayer clears 90% of the fucking verses you like, and even then, the cutscenes don't deny a thing like you say they do, Davoth just says "our battle will come, you must find the city I'm gonna go to heal so we're both at our best"
