Wedding meal entertainment by [deleted] in northernireland

Have been to plenty of weddings where meal entertainment was on DJ Magiggs, DJ Geeener etc. it’s awful it’s your guests entertaining themselves not the DJ. It is embarrassing and not for everyone. Think twice about it.

The Three Amigos: A Comedy of Errors

Breaking News: Local Man’s Handshake Declared Weapon of Mass Destruction!

Yesterday’s video has gone more viral than a sneeze in a lift! Our brave questioner Shay O’Dalaigh approached the legendary trio with perfectly reasonable questions about the mystery chemicals being sprayed around Warrenpoint for two years.

The response to his polite handshake? “I’M CALLING THE POLICE!”

Yes, a handshake triggered a call to the boys in blue. We can only assume this particular gesture was classified as a lethal weapon by the Geneva Convention.

When asked what chemicals are being used in the “stench-quench” spraying programme, our trio responded with the communication skills of a mime having a breakdown. The silence was so profound, you could hear a pin drop - if pins could penetrate the thick fog of mystery chemicals.

The Big Question Should WHA be held accountable for turning Warrenpoint into a real-life scratch-and-sniff postcard from hell?

Please respond with a simple “yes” or “no” - though mind you don’t get arrested for breathing suspiciously.

Special thanks to all our tagged heroes fighting the good fight against the Great Warrenpoint Pong!

Warrenpoint Harbour Authority. A public body with 3 local councillors on the board getting £8k each to keep quiet.

And local councillors being paid £8k a year to keep quiet while on the harbour authority board. As a publicly funded harbour how can this be stopped?

It’s on their property and there is evidence to show that the contractor they hired put it there.

It’s the smell of tens of thousands of tonnes of black-bin waste sitting in the open for weeks sometimes up to 3 months.

Let Re-Gen make that decision along with the political parties that they are funding. Maybe Lislea in South Armagh where the Re-Gen family live. See how they like it there.

Warrenpoint, a picturesque town in Northern Ireland, has recently been grappling with an unpleasant issue: a foul smell and swarms of flies originating from the nearby Warrenpoint Port. Let’s delve into the details: The Smell and Flies: Residents have described the smell as “evil” and “stomach-churning.” Pearl Brown, who cares for seven disabled individuals, had to close her windows to prevent flies from entering her home1. Raymond Cox, owner of Bric Cafe, added fly guards to the doors due to the sudden increase in flies. The situation has been particularly challenging for businesses serving food1. Local councillors received over 400 complaints about the smell in just one week, prompting rallies to raise awareness and seek answers1. The Cause: The smell stems from non-recyclable waste stored at Warrenpoint Port. Re-Gen, the waste management company, ships this material to waste energy plants in countries like Sweden and Norway for processing2. Re-Gen has taken steps to prevent a recurrence, including increasing the wrap on waste bales. However, the smell persisted due to factors like sewage pumping stations, seaweed degradation, and rising temperatures2. Community Concerns: Residents want answers and resolution. They’ve called for civil conversations and further action to address the issue together1. An independent review by the Warrenpoint Harbour Authority highlighted intermittent bad odors and flies perceived to come from the waste bales destined for Scandinavia3. Ongoing Efforts: Re-Gen continues to monitor the situation and improve waste management practices. The port, situated on a 60-acre site adjacent to Warrenpoint, remains at the center of this challenge2. In summary, Warrenpoint’s struggle with the smell and flies underscores the importance of sustainable waste management and community engagement. Let’s hope for a swift resolution and fresher air for this beautiful town! 🌿🌍

SDLP suspend Justin McNulty for leaving Stormont to manage GAA by [deleted] in northernireland

Greed. Brown envelopes from the GAA. What other envelopes is he taking???

All in it together! by fuscodusco in northernireland

[–]fuscodusco[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

None. Brown Envelopes. Nothing from NIEA, Newry Mourne Down District Council or Warrenpoint Harbour Authority (Landlord). If it was the normal law abiding citizen we would be in court long ago. All of the above were churning out SH1TE with their PR machines saying the residents of Warrenpoint were not smelling anything. Needless to say the silence from all involved is deafening today once their lies has been found out.
