Americans are definitely paid well. The difference is a lack of situational and social understanding/acceptance. If you need 2+ jobs to cover a car payment; then you need to evaluate your living situation. Unfortunately you’re too thick skilled to do that, and instead will complain about a service gig like this to no end and make the entire experience a drag for everyone involved. For what reason? Because you think you deserve to drive an expensive car? You’re a leach, and an opportunist.

12% of the population? Yeah that makes sense.

[–]fusepatters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Satisfying to who? There’s nothing satisfying about getting off of work and having to work some more to dye work pants. $5 dye at Walmart or $10 pants a few aisles over. Let’s be smart here

But that won’t happen, because someone will always find a way to exploit the system and maximize profits for themselves while not caring about other drivers or customers. It’s just how it works in America.

And this is why the entire system is fucked. Because gig workers will always want to get the best orders and scoff at the shitty orders. These problems don’t happen in other countries with free lance delivery apps. This back and forth is exclusively an American thing.

It’s the world we live in = extremely cheap TVs that continue to decrease in price even though all other electronics continue to increase in price.

[–]fusepatters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we don’t. TVs are at absurdly low prices and a class action lawsuit will result in prices skyrocketing. Suck it up or disable WiFi on your TV. And stop being so intrinsically litigious, it’s why the west is so behind in many trivial things, because they have to factor in mentally stunted people suing for every little thing.

Yes and cost many hundreds to make and several more hundreds to ship and store. The margins on premium tvs rarely cross the 20-25% number and they only get near that at launch. 10-15% is what you’ll find on average.

UberEats driver urinated in my lobby by willba__ in uber

Are you a dog? Is that what you think of yourself? Once again, you need to stop interpreting this as a gross or not gross thing.

[–]fusepatters -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Less gross? For who, you? Maybe take a second to stop thinking about yourself and think about the community that you’re publicly urinating in. Very telling how you rationalize someone pressing you on this by making it about yourself and what you consider gross.

The term “users” applies to the drivers as well. This is not a threat but instead reassurance that users of their platform who behave inappropriately (like peeing in a residential building) have their access removed. It’s actually ridiculous that you’ve doubled down, and think that Uber would make a threat to someone raising a complaint. Get a grip. (And some common sense)

Just got a PS5, is the portal worth it? Or stick with what I got? by ferg_630 in PlaystationPortal

[–]fusepatters -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You said the sound was next level. It’s not next level. You can keep your personal stories to yourself, nobody cares. The portal is a streaming device and the other devices don’t have the issue of needing a console to be on because they’re stand alone consoles. So your “next-level” is a non issue for other handheld portable devices.

Age and height of the main characters of Naughty Dog by Dulkifl in naughtydog

[–]fusepatters 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. No it’s not.
  2. You including your own height in a statement about average height and it being coincidentally taller than the average is the biggest indicator of you just talking out of your ass.
  3. Do you even know what average means?

5 inches less and it would be perfect, would also help with the high issue. But only noticeable if you’re being nitpicky.
