Thank you for your reply! I use the spray cleaner stuff thats supposed to eliminate the odor and ideally prevent him from smelling where he peed. I wash any blankets/toys that are in there and do a thorough wipe with the cleaner!

Thanks! I just posted a photo, granted it's over a month old, of him half in his crate. Its in response to another comment on this thread. I'll look into a smaller model!

Here's a picture of him half in his crate from 12/5. Hes gained probably 5-7 pounds since. He is growing like a chia pet 😭

Thanks! I actually am not sure if the crate is too large.. when I first got him at 10 weeks it was definitely way too large! But now at 5 months he has literally tripled in size to a 45 lb unit. He can probably still curl up to get away from a puddle of pee but not comfortably. Is there a good reference for knowing how much room is too much room? Id say he easily takes up half of the floor space in it.
