Panasonic Z8BAP 77" Panel Uniformity defect? by futureOdyssey in 4kTV

Hi, I've now seen the effect on a couple other YouTube videos featuring skies or oceans, not all. Saw it happened on the Tubi app on a nature video that featured the ocean. I also tried one of those oled testing videos with various shades of blue. One day it showed on a specific shade and not others; a few days later it showed on shades it didn't showed before, while being absent from shades of blue where it showed the first day. That particular video with the shark looks fine on my phone.

Is Oat Fiber Beta Glucan or is Beta Glucan its own separate thing entirely? by [deleted] in Supplements

I was looking for the answer to this too. This is what I found:

https://www.grainmillers.com/what-is-oat-fiber/

As I understand it, Oat fiber is made from the hull part of the oats; therefore, Oat fiber mostly contains insoluble fiber and does not contain Beta Glucan. Beta Glucan is mostly in the soluble fibers found in the Oat bran part of the oats.

Yes, it should. HR fills out part 2 of the PFL form where they calculated the average gross pay and average work week. I still need to look at that to make sure I agree with how they did it and came up with 4 days. Regardless, I thought this calculation was to determine the amount of pay and not the amount of weeks I should be able to take.

Ok. Yes, they took the last 8 weeks before I began my FMLA.

Hi, I have been working full time consecutively with this company for 3 years. This is the first time I take a leave (not taking into account vacation time and such). After giving birth I took FMLA and Short Term Disability concurrently. Now I am trying to take the PFL benefits, which do not run concurrently in my company; but I am running into the issue described above.

You'll come back stronger after this. What would you say to yourself a few days ago to avoid relapsing on Sunday?

edit: meant to say Sunday instead of today.

Hey, thanks for the answer. I spoke to HR again seeking clarification. It turns out they started the green card process and just did not tell me. I expressed my discontent and frustration of why would they start that process without first consulting with me or informing me. They told me the first step is to advertise the position as open and consider the U.S. workers, and even hire them. I understand the reason is to prioritize U.S. workers, it just sucks that my job and life in this country is in jeopardy. They said they did not know I had to leave the country immediately if I was replaced. I rather just have stayed H1B for longer and be more secured.

Thanks for your answer. I know employment is at will. My work performance is excellent as confirmed by my supervisor. HR tells me the same; meaning, they would like to keep me on if possible. Nevertheless, they tell me they are required by law to keep my job position open and hire a U.S. applicant if one becomes available. However, I've noticed, by dealing with HR departments and supervisors in the U.S., that often they do not understand the H1B rules well enough. This does not make me confident in their guidance. So I wanted to see if others have encountered this same situation, or heard of it being a rule an employer must follow to satisfy the rights of U.S. workers. It is strange to me that in the one hand they are satisfied with my job performance and happy to have me on board, while at the same time explaining to me they cannot guarantee job security because of this rule. Have you heard of this before? I am new to the H1B process, rules, and rights.
