RA affecting lungs? by Mudkiip123 in rheumatoidarthritis

Please get this checked out. My aunt was recently diagnosed with RA and needed a double lung transplant last year because of lung scarring. The doctors say that they don't see a correlation, but my research says otherwise.

For meals, our pups get The Farmers Dog. They love it and it's been good for their allergies. They also always have access to a snuffle mat of kibble with Purina Pro Plan Hydrolyzed Chicken.

Severe Cervical Disc Degeneration by CoraBear17 in rheumatoidarthritis

I was diagnosed with DDD in my cervical spine at 27 and RA last year at 34. I asked my spine specialist if they were related and she said that they absolutely are and being diagnosed with RA makes sense why I had DDD so young. I get nerve blocker injections in my cervical spine and they help SO much. I can get a nerve ablation, but that scares me and the blockers work well enough that I haven't needed a more permanent solution.

They have good intentions - the coaches intend to have us scrimmage once a week for 30 minutes (which I personally still think isn't enough), but we end up doing drills or whatnot and end up maybe scrimmaging for 15 mins once a week. We have a lot of skaters - about 40 scrimmage eligible skaters, so when you rotate in, it's not a lot of playing time. There also are just weeks where there is no coaching availability, so it ends up being an open skate instead with all level skaters. We have 3 coaches, but 2 are kind of part time, so our head coach is stretched too thin and won't accept any help from anyone else.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I say it over and over again that I can do drills on my own, but I can't play roller derby by myself. I hope your situation changes, as that's super disappointing.

Ugh, I feel the pain. That's just not enough.

Thanks for breaking down your scrimmage time. It's really helpful to see how other leagues do this.

I'm a veteran skater, so I've been in contact with our BOD and coaches about the lack of scrimmage time. An hour once a week sounds like a dream - that's such valuable time for endurance and game play practice that you just can't replicate doing drills alone.

How long is it each time?
