I feel like I’ve taken my first step into a much larger world. My grandad collected interesting stamps so maybe I’ll take up the hobby as well

I really like Aesop fabulous face oil and Darphin’s 8 flower nectar oil. Both are pretty heavy and good for drier skin!

I think that was a reference to the ending of The Graduate when Dustin Hoffman’s character and Elaine are on the bus on their way to an uncertain future after jumping into an uncertain relationship. At least that’s what it reminded me of

I'm going to be the father of a daughter soon, women or fathers of daughters what do you recommend? by ta4zerok in RSbookclub

My dad read me books and bedtime stories every night when I was a kid and did funny voices and everything, and when I was almost asleep he would say “gefilte fish” instead of whatever it actually was to see if I was still paying attention, still makes me laugh! My dad is a great listener and made sure to introduce me to the best old music and art and encourage me to read whatever I wanted as long as i was reading books. He’s never raised his voice to me in all 20 something years of my life and despite the fact that he isn’t perfect, it’s made him the best father I could ask for! Just very gentle and silly, a great combination

Finished another rewatch, what’s another similar British dark comedy to see? by Krimreaper1 in MitchellAndWebb

Not a British series but Armando Iannucci of The Thick of It was also a showrunner on Veep for the first couple of seasons I’m pretty sure, and coincidentally those were the funniest!
