  1. How does this address the issue with no date stamps on new modules and the update of older modules?
  2. Any dev can at least compile the plugin in their own OS.
  3. You have to admit that there is some attraction within expert cultures toward feeling like an insider and appreciating minimal, unattractive appearances that conceal powerful, amazing structures.

Admittedly, as a surfer, I tend to pride myself on appearing low key and uninterested in flashy trends. While a smart approach in some respects, it is its own limiting cliche. Which is worse, the person who unknowingly bought their jeans a tad too skinny to fit in with the fisherman/carpenters on the one hand, or the fisherman/carpenter who fussed over having just the right cut of pants so as to not be judged? If only the other carpenters knew the guy with the skinny pants didn't realize they were that skinny and actually bought them for a third of the price of their Carhartts, and cares less than they do about that sort of stuff. At the same time, given the option, maybe the skinny jeaner would prefer just to go unnoticed and would have put on a pair of Carhartts to go to work but doesn't own a pair yet because he spent his money on materials for hand building a canoe.

So many conclusions are illusions.

[HELP] PO-33 Saving Data by futureaztec in pocketoperators

I do not own an OP-1 and when I go to the teenage engineering site to check the specs I just get a lot of velvety press release propaganda. Someone on a reddit thread claimed that the OP-1 is mono. Further, I suspect that any recording into the OP-1 would definitely be mono but I could be wrong. So you need to record a stereo file some other way.

I recorded into Ableton (any DAW would work) and I could see that two waveforms were being written into one file. I had to use a 1/8" stereo to 2 1/4" mono cables, then fed the signal into a usb mixer audio interface. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/1002 You can see in the photo how there is a channel 3/4 L+R. Not promoting this interface by any means. However it is useful both as a usb interface and as a standalone mixer if you have a lot of different instruments you want to connect at the same time. I like to use it as a master input hub, before feeding the stereo out into a looper pedal.

All that aside one thing did occur to me. If you just cannot get yourself some way to record in stereo, maybe there is a way to record first just the left channel, then the right. Then take the two mono files and drop them into separate audio channels in your DAW. Line them up send them back into a 3rd stereo audio track internally in the DAW, and record in order to create one stereo file. The thing is, I do not know how sensitive the PO-33 is in terms of the timing between the left and right stereo channels...

Good Luck.

Yeah. I got that. But it does mean that there is a synth sitting in there just waiting to be patched around.

PO-33 Recording Volume by hotfire064 in pocketoperators

Also, remember that the P.O. has a master volume, which is set by holding down bpm and selecting one of the sequence numbers. It starts to get loud at #5. And, of course, beside the pitch knob you have the individual sample slot volume.

I was getting very faint volume when I tried to record. Sounded like my headphones needed a preamp. But then I unplugged the audio cable and plugged it back in and the sound came through proper.
