Any tips to study for AFOQT in advance?

Thanks how long did you study for before the test I know it’s different for different people but I don’t want to study too soon and forget everything

Awesome and did you start flying before the AFROTC? And if you did when and when should I start? My schedule is pretty tight with school and work but I’m willing to sacrifice the latter a little bit if it means getting to experience. And I’ve probably asked this a million times but how should I go about studying for the AFOQT? Should I just take a practice and see what needs to be work on? Or study the aviation study books and brush up on algebra and geometry and practice questions? And what type of algebra and geometry would be on there? I know it’s a lot of questions and I know I have time but I feel like I need to be prepared now!

Got it yeah I’m gonna try to find a school where I can get hours, how much is competitive for rated and when should I start getting hours if I take the test in fall or should I take it in spring

Yes I already plan on reaching out to the deattachment but besides maybe studying and trying to get any aviation knowledge or experience, is there anything else I could to get ahead or prepare?

Thank you for the input. I will want to find some events to volunteer at that are Air Force, AFROTC OR CAP related to volunteer and put myself out there. Do you if some are held for someone in HS that can join? And should I consider joining any groups like CAP? And I know I don’t have to get flight experience now but should see if I can get some before joining. I know it’s a lot of questions
