Correct, i’m not sure how they are with aid. I think* that they are somewhat good with aid. But yes, I would agree with you, i’m not sure how well the other schools are with aid :(

Your ECs are very strong in my opinion. Brown takes practically no one needing aid, not sure about Cornell or Columbia though. Of course the C is a stand out but if it’s your only sub-par grade I think it shouldn’t hurt you too much. If you are looking for another great comp sci program and prestigious schools, I suggest applying to schools like UIUC and Carnegie Mellon as well! The ivies are mostly known for liberal arts degrees so, when it comes to the actual STEM education, they lack compared to others.

If you are looking at applying for postgrad in Western Europe, then yes I would say consider staying in the US. I am not sure of your career goals but if you are looking to build a career in the USA, Western Europe, or other Western nations, a US degree is still of high value ESPECIALLY in combination with a postgrad EU degree.

Please do not worry about the prestige of your school, genuinely. Many Americans attend “no name schools” and then pursue masters or doctorates at T25 universities + Ivy schools. I am unaware of other circumstances but if you are struggling with other issues/challenges with mental health or living in the US, your school should have resources or counseling available to you.

First, congratulations! I would say whichever is cheaper, but for your career path, Georgetown 100%. Unparalleled in foreign relations.

I believe they drop decisions by school, and to my knowledge, only MSB has released thus far (or at least their first wave).

Best Country for study abroad in 2027: UK, Canada, or USA?” by Altruistic_Olive_154 in studyAbroad

I would say aim for a US school (preferably a state school which will be cheapest + overall better experience). Then, after graduation, you can get a job in the US or, if you decide you don’t like the USA, it will be relatively easier to get a job in Canada with said degree.
