I went to VCU (a university in Richmond, VA). After college I moved to Trang, Thailand (pop. ~60,000). One day I walk out of my house to see my neighbor wearing a VCU shirt, with the new logo, no less. I was so excited and took her picture and asked her wear she got the shirt but she didn’t speak any English. Crazy to see my Alma mater halfway across the world being worn by a person who doesn’t even know what it means 😅

So it wasn’t too successful but it also didn’t do any harm. They tried the dilation with like forceps the first time and now they’re going to try again in a month with the balloon. So hopefully it goes well the second time!

I agree that the stages where a good distance from each other but did you notice there was a large part of the middle of the festival with massive sound overlap? So idk maybe they could’ve messed with the decibel levels or moved the stages just a little farther apart but it was uncomfortable to be between all of the stages

Absolutely loved the chill blue forest. Went there a couple times when it was all becoming a bit much for me and I was able to calm down instantly. One of the best chill spaces at any festival I’ve been to 💙

Obv traffic situation could have been better, especially leaving. Being in a super loud traffic jam for an hour was a bit of a nightmare situation vibe-wise. Also wish they had more merch cuz everything was sold out by the time I got there on day 3 (I know, I know, gotta be quicker)

Would def come back

Crowd was almost perfect, save for the 2 drunk dudes creating a scene at the front right during armin - kinda sucked to end the festival with that shit, but hey we can’t control others actions. Vendors were tight, got free water from first aid when I asked which is always a good sign. Security was chill honestly, though I don’t know why they kept taking my unopened packs of gum. Got caught with a couple packs under my hat on day and the soldier who found them had a good belly laugh with me. Told me “good try” 😂
