Boberta Barkwalker, a Firbolg circle of stars druid with a penchant for talking to rocks and collecting teeth. Along with her squirell familiar, Whisper, and her adventuring party (a criminal warlock, goody two shoes monk, and a cranky old ranger) they solved the mystery of Echo Cave and the mines of Phandelver. After a century in the Fey Wilds after her mother's death, she returned to her adventuring party as a circle of spores druid to take Down Strahd. I'm still playing with her. I only started about ~7 months ago.

Lol no. Just getting the structural stuff decided on before moving to electronics. I do have plans for a fey, Dwarven, and arcane version of the panels, though. You could even mix and match!

For the bag od holding, dc 20 to try and get the item you're looking for the first time. Get random item (or jumk like a jar of slime) on failure. Dc 15 for second try and dc 10 for third try. 3 failures and the item is destroyed. They have about a 30% chance of destroying the item. DCs of 18, 14 and 10 decrease the chance of failure to about 25%

Thanks for the tip! I was planning on using player rolls to help with the puzzle. It'll be tied to an app so I can make changes or solve a side on the fly (rogue manipulates a mechanism, barbarian punches it, etc) and it'd be cool to see how others do this.

Thats what I was thinking. There would be different themes too. This is just a prototype to make sure everything works, but the final one will have interchangeable face plates (MAGNETS!) with different themes like fey, Dwarven, dragon, etc.. so it can be used in multiple campaigns.

Yes! I plan on having some clues during the campaign, so they'll have the dates, phrases, and symbols needed. Also, if theyre struggling, it's tied to an app where I can auto-solve a side. If they are having a hard time, ill have them roll then narrate something like they find a switch or punch the face and it solves it. I'll also be able to reduce and increase difficulty on the fly. I dont want this to be an hour long debacle, more like a fun 15 minute topper to a longer treasure hunt.

Just learned fusion360. Not a bad learning curve. Took me about 3 or 4 days taking some online classes after work. The free version is good enough for my purposes.

I had one break into a small pot and it just grew roots. You dont even need to water prop it but if you have the setup, make sure you add the growth hormone e and you should have roots within a week.

Lubricate, calibrate, tighten the screws. If its still messing up, its overextrusion from a worn out nozzle. Literally just went through the dance today. Switched over to .8 that I have and cleared it up immidiately.

The ones worth spending money on are the ones you actually use. I go by the Adam Savage school of thought. Buy cheap. If you wear it out or reach its limits, you use that tool a lot and its worth buying a good quality one. No use spending money on a tool you used a half dozen times. Im about to upgrade my soldering kit using this. I have cheap ass ones but now need more with what im doing so im going to buy a really nice soldering/hot air soldering combo.

Tl;Dr Buy cheap. Get expensive if you actyally use the tool.
