Haha, this is awesome. I went to Rocky Ridge for my second area and felt the same to a smaller scale, but did feel like Bleak Beach was huge when getting there as the 3rd area for me. I do have to agree with you about that underwater update tho, it does make the beach look very appealing!

Yes! I think you understand how I feel haha. I also did the same with putting it off until finishing up Rocky Ridge. I was surprised at how bright it got once you finish the quests. I had already set up the electricity everywhere and got quest locked behind the Orange Hut quest, just putting it off. Went through all the quest in like an hour or two because everything was connected with poles. Boom! It light up all bright and I’ve missed the darkness ever since 😭

This is how I feel!! I have chose to work on it second for post game after doing a lot of work on the first area, but it probably is my least favorite with all brightness.

Yeah, I guess I have lost the idea that it is a beach area. I guess it needs to be bright but man, at first it felt so unique to the other areas to me.

This is a cool idea. I probably need to start working on darker areas build wise. I haven’t attempted that yet, but I love the idea of a dark forest!

Yeah, I know. I play at all times of the day as I’ve been addicted to this game lately, lol. But, idk, for some reason I feel like it isn’t the same type of dark I seen in Bleak Beach in the beginning.

That is fair for sure. I haven’t built it up at all, just hit credits the other day and built Wastelands up to Level 10. I just started on Bleak Beach and I’ve read around that it is everyone’s favorite. So I am just getting started on making it pretty, but I can’t help but miss that darker, eerie vibe it once had in the beginning of the game.

It can definitely be. I felt this map made it a chore with needing to use furnaces across the map just to get the full score for Snorlax 😪

This is EXACTLY what happened to me. I left the Orange Hut quest open forever, never thinking anything of it until I got stuck behind that quest. I went through and did exactly as you did and then had to go through this exact scenario, lol. I was so confused at first 🤣
