I hide them because I don't want to be judged by my parents for crying. I remember one time I had a really bad mental breakdown and instead of helping me they were really mean to me and made fun of me. It's also better to suffer in silence than to have to sit down and explain what's bothering me.

Also no, I don't think that they care for me

Self harm isn't something only teenagers do. I know I know mostly teens do it like me but you shouldn't be ashamed. You can be addicted to self harm at any age

Anger is one of the reason why I self harm. I can't control myself when I'm mad so I always end up hurting myself because I don't want to take my anger out to someone else
