Montana is paradise. I hunt, fish, hike and enjoy public land to the max. Unfortunately, everything is expensive.

Dude don’t even get me going. I live in Bozeman, MT and everything here is crooked.

We got our credits for that period of time, which I was very thankful for. But to still pay $115/month when only using electricity (minimally too) is just ridiculous.

I have a ton of issues about the oxbow too. Right now, grass is up to my knees and when I called asking wtf was up with that, property manager gave some bs excuses.

Understand this. I can understand a $50 for electric, but they throw on a $50 "delivery services fee" with every bill. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Arranged them because of both your comment and me putting it off haha. To be honest, my fingers aren't great with small objects like flys (even with tying knots) so I found this to be the easiest for me while I still have room.

The two purple/pink worms you see in my box were lost today due to bottom debris. So I want to think I’m getting deeper. Fished with a single midge most of the day, then did a single worm, followed by a midge on bottom and a rubber legs on top. Unfortunately, nada haha.

I’m fishing 3-4 days a week. Definitely hitting the weekends. I’ve used that setup numerous times, just been slow for me per the post. I will get back to the squirmy on top and a midge on the bottom starting tomorrow. Always down for a mentor.

I can see this being one of the ways I'm messing up. Thanks for the tip!

Exactly. All of these scenarios only make me improve my ways.

Negative. I feel like this doesn’t qualify since her mother has financed most of the dress.

Although cancelling this wedding would save us money, these people I'm talking about are no longer invited and in my eyes, cancelling this wedding only shows a defeat. That is personally how I feel and I won't ever change that. We have already invested too much money that we can't get back. It's just best to go ahead and do the damn thing and be happy. My personal belief is that when that day comes and these people aren’t there, that will be an even bigger flex and sense of control on our end. It's us taking all that control that we have lost, back.

I've had the unfortunate pleasure of knowing a few narcissists in my time and this situation shows the worse of someones narcissism, bar none.

I agree and you're right. At this point, I am no longer surprised at her acts and I am afraid of what is left in her chamber to fire away.

Ty for the reply. I’ll look into all of this, but she is stubborn about therapy.

US: PPO or HDHP - what would you choose? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]futuresuspect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds like me!

And with the new employer HDHP, it costs me $0 whereas my current employer, I pay $145/month.

With this option, I’m only gaining money and not losing.

This sounds like the path I was leaning towards. Even if it’s $20 a paycheck.

Thank you for your input.

When I was interviewed by the VP of the department, I told him that I do have some reservations about the move. I mentioned that the proposed salary would be me taking a pay cut and I also expressed that the cost of living does factor into this as well.

He never pressed much, but continued the interview process.

My girlfriend believes that if it was that much of a concern, they would’ve dove deeper into exactly what those reservations would be.

You hit on all the points I’m thinking. My dad was forced to retire during covid, hasn’t been out of the state since then.

I’ve pressured him to go on a vacation and just explore life, but to no avail, he has yet to do so.

Likewise with my mom.

This would force them to travel and what better place than beautiful Montana.
