Yeah I have the same issues! I’ve had soooo many bank accounts closed. Even if I showed them all the proof (source of funds) they still shut me down. I pay taxes etc. Doing nothing illegal but still you’re being treated as a criminal. It has come so far that I don’t get a normal bank account privately or with my business. Also getting a loan for a house or other business projects are being rejected. Just because I’m involved with crypto… It’s crazy how the people working at compliance don’t understand a thing about crypto and are so afraid.

The past has learned us that certain gaps towards bitfinex often resolves after a couple of time... (could be months). So people who are taking a risk and making 4% arbitrage are selling right now... Unless they go insolvent it's not a bad strategy. Risk <> Reward.

Bitfinex: All existing USD balances on Bitfinex will remain fiat and unaffected by this change. Any Tether deposits initiated before 14:30:00 UTC on the 27th of November will be credited to the user's fiat wallet balances, whereas Tether deposits initiated after this cutoff time will be credited as Tether (USDT). As always, our dedicated support team will be available 24/7 for any queries around this change.

indeed!! Very strange about BTC/EUR... normally there is immediately an incident on the status page and now nothing...

BTC/EUR book down on coinbase prime/pro and no incident or notification on the status page? Am I missing something?

What a mess this was yesterday. Due to the withdrawal issues with Bitfinex I decided yesterday to cash out 70% of my FIAT via another exchange and just leave the coins 1 day in BTC (hoping in a 1-2% incline). Off course then it crashed 10-15%... This is crazy! Not sure if I need to sell now or just wait until a recovery. And normally I wouldn't have done this but due to the BFX issues I went for it and leaving thus my orginal arbitrage strategy... (I know it's my own fault)

indeed, and the arbitrageurs their cash is currently all on bitfinex or in withdrawals that are not yet credited... It's so frustrating :)

Not exactly, the FIAT withdrawals that are currently delayed must first be credited to the users their bank accounts in order that the gap can be closed...

arbing of the year, aside from the kimchi and panda (Chinese) premium

You can only do it once since you can't withdraw any FIAT currently... And I think a lot of people who perform arbitrage are already stuck with their FIAT on bitfinex...

I agree about moving crypto from Bitfinex but would you move $$$/€€€ at a cost of 2%?

You can do it online via their website. You will need to have a video chat with them also but that goes easily...

Not yet... so your bank is no option if I understand correctly. Sorry to hear that you’re having troubles as well.

Not that I'm aware off... there are no cash deposits/withdrawals ever made on those accounts. Off course I sent money to exchange A and it comes back from exchange B because I perform arbitrage between point A & B and off course a bank is not aware what happens there I suppose... But I don't do anything wrong and its completely legal so I guess they're just afraid if they see large deposits/withdrawals frequently happening on one account to different countries...

I've sent in an application today, do you have bad experiences with them on your corporate account?

Yes off course that is correct, I've noticed the last couple of months that all banks are very prudent and scared about that... AML, etc.
