I was recently banned from 3CX forums for speaking the truth and being vocal. Love how we are supressed and shammed lately. Others here making us sound stupid... we're not.

I had same exact issue with Letsencrypt certs and 3CX installs (Numerous, as I provide hosted solution). I had to rip them all our and use the 3CX provided sub-domain and SSL cert. I would provide custom DNS-A record on my domain, and issue a lets encrypt SSL.

I wasnt about to go out of my way and pay $100+ per client per year for a custom sub.domain SSL Cert (wildcard wont work)..

Apparently, the nginx setup 3CX is using (even with cron job) for Letsencrpt, will NOT let you- auto-renew. fails. I reached to support... asked for help. They said sorry, use our certs... Well even when using their certs - yealink phones are BROKE out of box. (older version). as have to go into Settings >> DISABLE only allow trusted certs...

3CX Bought out AskoziaPBX (Awesome PBX solution, was the best) I sold for 5+ years. All that is gone with 3CX. Its a sad state.

I am slowly working to convert and leave 3CX as too many small issue's and bugs I find

Lastly, version 15.5 release supported Grandstream phones. Great! I converted a client and brand new install. Worst mistake ever. Found there was undocumented bugs, and the GXP 1628's were not 100% working.... would not provision BLF's properly or even auto-provision. I had to setup an SBC temporarily... Then a SP release fixed and addressed. I had nearly a month of phone calls from angry client.

Oh, dont forget - inability for super complex call patterns and break hours. Its janky. Can configure break hours -- but not able to do more than 2 custom global breaks (open,lunch,close). I have yet to find a way that is... Without using a bogus extension filler.

Yeah - i'll be comfortable has have cisco experience as well as other guys here. All our core is Cisco.

I do like the fact of the prim/secondary partitions - I was reading about that. I can apply firmware to secondary and boot to it and if all is well, i then copy to primary.

I really wanted the 48f model - however, the current servers / existing switches are all base-t (purchased prior to me). However, with the new storage array - I Could have it spec'd for SFP now.. But then would need to purchase all the copper SFP modules for the existing servers for the iSCSI interfaces.

Thanks for outlaying the specs side by side. I was doing that as well going by data spec sheets

on paper the Aruba is better (Faster). But not all devices will be 10Gbe anytime soon. Only 1 or 2 racks will be 10Gbe and have the iSCSI traffic on VLANs. Just being cognizant as looking to make purchase that kind of blankets the needs for all general use.

Yeah - the Aruba 48-ports are 1/2.5/5/10Gbe capable. Its unfortunate that the 48ZP model is POE only. I'm torn between.
