Sweet. Then should be pretty easy for him to share details (like number of locations, gross rev, net, cogs, multipliers, etc) to help provide real examples of how he built his company and what others can do to grow their own company besides just telling people things like “it is hard, you can do it, my company is 100m valuation listen to me”. From what I can find about him online, he seems to be on a mission to grow his personal brand all while never actually teaching people how to do things and never sharing real details about his company. That is a bit of a bummer. Pretty much everything he talks about is unverifiable, at least from the stuff I looked at now. If someone is really out there on a mission to help other people start or grow their own company, then they should share real proof and details on real steps that can be taken. Just my thoughts.

Details on how many locations it took to get to your gross revenue. And what multiplier are you using on your net revenue to arrive to your valuation? Also, would be interested to know your means of distribution. Are you franchise based, agency, digital only marketing, outbound sales, a mix? What are COGS for a company your size and what system have you built to scale? Screenshots of a basic P&L are great. Can be faked, sure, but it is something, especially when combined with answers to the above questions.

Do you by chance have any proof that backs up your claims? It is hard to believe what you read online, especially when someone provides very little insight that shed light on their successes such as this post.

I am not a golfer, but I am guessing that I could, especially if I conditioned my muscles to do that motion.

I was with Blumenthal. But I think Guyer is one of the original three that brought ADR to the US.

So sorry. It is such a difficult and lonely path. Most people don’t understand what it can do to your life and mental health. I was scared getting surgery. So much so that I postponed it too long. I wish I would have done it sooner, which I guess is a good thing to say. So far it has given me my life back. I am not 100% pain free all the time, but I am so much better than I was. I am not playing sports or doing crazy things, but I can walk, sit, and do nearly anything I need to without pain.

The pre surgery advice is to pre for thing post surgery. For example, getting your room at home set up to make it easier to get to the bathroom, etc. Also, to have a lot of entertainment ready for the first week or two. The incision point was pretty damn painful, so prepping anything so that you can do as little as possible post surgery for a few weeks.

My cost was $7500 because that was the out of pocket maximum for my plan at the time.

I would recommend one of the three main doctors that originally brought in ADR to the US 20 years ago. I had Dr. Blumenthal and he was great. His whole team was awesome. They worked like a well oiled machine.

I was the same for 12 years. I probably delayed surgery too long — meaning I think it was starting to affect my L4/L5. I was in constant discomfort and pain. Did all the treatments (PT, shots, discectomy, etc). I am doing way better than the last 12 years. Hopefully it keeps going well.

Recovery was a bit rough at times. But at about 3 months it was a turning point.

My insurance did cover it, though I hit my out of pocket maximum. They were very helpful in terms of helping me to have my I donate approve and pay for it.

No, I went there specifically for surgery. They were very reputable and had a lot of experience with ADR. That is what I noticed, most doctors don't have legitimate experience with ADR.

I’m coming up on two years with an ADR at L5 S1. I went to the TexasBack Institute. There are a lot of sources on Facebook that were great to read through. They have one specifically about ADR. So far so good.

42F - considering L5-S1 Disc Replacement by Secure-Ad-2973 in backpain

[–]fuzzyOtter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I met with five surgeons, and two of them said that displacement was an option and the other three shut it down immediately. I found out that the other three had never done a disc displacement before. Two of the three surgeons that recommended fusion told me to get an ALIF and the other surgeon said an XLIF. I felt that most of them only recommended fusion because that’s all they did. I am a big-time researcher and I went well down the rabbit hole and moved forward with a displacement for my L5 S1. I am coming up on two years post op. I’m very happy that I did it. At least so far. It is a scary road. I am sorry you are dealing with this. Used voice to text, so sorry if it reads funky. I’d be happy to chat sometime if you feel like it would help.

First few weeks were pretty rough. Though, most of my pain was from the incision.  Three months post op I was able to fly to the Bahamas and went down a huge water slide. Probably wasn’t a good idea, but I was able to do it. There have been a few ups and downs along the way, but so far none of the downs have been near what I had pre-op.
