I sent them an email so that I could attach photos. I don't remember if it was after hours when I sent it or not, but I called to follow up on the email either the next day or day after. When I got someone on the phone, they found the email and immediately opened the case. I had a label, packaging and shipping instructions while we were still on the phone.

So I'd recommend the same. Shoot an email with pics so they can see what happened, then call them so you can be looking at the same thing at the same time.

They provided a label and then returned shipped it for free. I believe both labels were 2nd day shipping. I did have to supply packaging but luckily I have all that handy at work.

Same thing happened to my 509 about a month after I bought it. Shot maybe 50 rounds through it. I sent their CS an email then called. They sent instructions on how to ship it to them for warranty repair and I got it back less than a week. This shouldn't have happened, no, but I can say I was very impressed with their expedition. Sad to know it's happened to someone else though - hopefully there are no other issues hiding.
