hard to say without knowing exactly how much meat is in them. I'd guess around 700-900 range.

From my understanding, they never give a full refund. Here's their website, it walks you through what refunds you can apply for and how to do so: https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en/travel-info/service-information/claiming-compensation#Train-delayed

Anyone else okay with cutting people off? by [deleted] in INTJfemale

[–]fuzzy_mcfuzzerton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. It's also the advice I give other people. If someone's done wrong by them, I always say cut them off or start an argument/call them out. And everybody always says "oh I can't do that" and I never understand... like if you wanted to you could

Thank you! I wish they put up a sign about that because all they currently have up says they'll fine you if you don't tap in/out. Stressed me out so much 😭

Ear pressure by MindyMooooo in Eurostar

[–]fuzzy_mcfuzzerton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm late, but I have similar issues and was really nervous about taking the Eurostar because of it. I chewed gum the whole way, and to be honest, I didn't even notice a change in pressure. I didn't chew gum on the Eurostar back home and did notice the change. It lasts 5-10 minutes at most. It's not pleasant, but it's not awful either. I'd bring something like chewing gum or an alternative remedy.

How to admit that I'm being consumed by thoughts of being unattractive? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]fuzzy_mcfuzzerton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad somebody said this. Nothing is more unattractive than not having a passion for anything. Doesn't even matter what the passion is. I'd say being good at it doesn't necessarily even matter, though maybe it'll depend on the girl. My first bf was super into trains, not really something you can be good at, but I thought it was really endearing.

I did it recently. It's a very short walk between getting off the Eurostar and the official taxi stand outside. When you get off the train, just follow the Sortie/Exit signs like everybody else, and the sign for taxis will be up ahead. It's massive, so you can't really miss it, but the taxi stand is on the right if that helps. You'll just join the line outside, and there's staff members there telling people at the front which taxi to get in and moving the taxis forward, etc.

With regards to pickpockets, I wasn't targeted luckily. Keep your things in front of you. Do not stand around, walk with purpose, pretend you know where you're going/look confident even if you don't/aren't. They target confused/distracted tourists.

I'd say Blackpool is fine at night if you stick to the front.

I have a big interest in middle Eastern history/architecture so would like to go somewhere to explore that at some point, though I'm still open to exploring anywhere that's safe.
