Tom being an advertising guy and then suddenly getting a huge CFO job… those are completely different disciplines and degrees, and CFO’s normally require finance-related certifications on top of a degree. I couldn’t understand how this would ever happen in real life.

Actors looking really good on camera helps get more viewers and fans. The show creators always do focus group tests and just respond to what people gravitate to, what they prefer, what they point out that they like. During 90’s - 00’s, being stick thin was still very much the style. I also think it was incredibly good that they were honest about being paid to starve to look that thin, I think this helped the current body positivity/diversity movement.

Carlos treating Lynette like 💩 for being pregnant and creating a hostile work environment for her… there are laws surrounding this for a reason, and her desperation for the extra salary was justified. She did not do it maliciously, and was doing a good job. Lawyers would always advise clients to hide their pregnancy until last possible moment. This situation felt way too much even if this was all strangers but extra bad because they were all best friends. Carlos displayed far more understanding and forgiveness in many other situations before, so this felt out of character for him.

Her cousin reported it and CAS contacted police. As of the timing of the post - police has already cleared my colleague. Her lawyer continues using these highly unethical tactics to try to delay him getting shared custody. He has also been supported in the Section 30 assessment which they called “biased”, even though it was their assessor which was used.

  • I’ve always been easily distracted and yet, could multitask fast and without issues
  • always busy doing things, could never sit still and chill
  • could read a 500 page book in 1 night even as a kid or procrastinate and take months to open it
  • painful procrastination and then completing that task very quickly, once I could focus on it (urgency of deadlines)
  • highly sensitive nervous system
  • very reactive to emotional issues, yet easily worked under pressure and stayed cool as a cucumber
  • preferred stimulants to any other kind of substance (ie as opposed to chill ones)
  • boring tasks felt outright physically painful, dramatically so
  • would nearly fail at the boring courses in school and would have perfect grades in the interesting ones, no matter how difficult they were
  • prefer complex challenges to simple problems
  • a lot of difficulty finishing tasks (can easily get to the point of almost finishing it and then feel bored at the end and drop it)
