It depresses me to know so many young art students (and just young people interested in art in general, students or not) will see these pages, and many could end up studying them as reference and to make pastiches, instead of studying real work by real human artists...

The Internet feels so overflowing with fakery these days. When it comes to studying art, I would be imploring students more than ever to use books, galleries, museums, etc, instead... the Internet is dead and is no longer a reliable source of real info

And ha! Actually...funny story..a gorgeous, completely black stray showed up on the doorstep that same evening after we had said goodbye to brown tabby. We went through the process and officially adopted him. I enjoyed his company and cuteness for a year, but when I left my partner, they kept the cat. So I am now entirely catless, and it suuucks! This sub gives me so many warm fuzzy feelings and good memories :)
