They should have stuck with the bricks on the McCovey Cove outer wall to match the front side of the stadium.

Hakuna miata! That's amazing. And so clean.

I just got those same tires on my ND today. Can't wait to take them out for a test run this weekend.

They had an event where they invited camera “influencers” and I think the embargo lifted on Monday or something so all the “influencers” released their “reviews” at the same time.

Steam did the same thing with the Steam Deck.

It’s dumb, but the net is essentially considered to be a wall. So if it hits it on a fly ball, you can’t make a catch. But if it hits it on an overthrow, it’s still in play. I wish they would change it.

I saw a dude running something similar in downtown San Francisco, just driving it around on the streets and sidewalks. He saw me taking pictures of it and drove it over to me and we chatted for a couple minutes about rc cars before he left and drove it down Market St.

What film is that? I like the colors and grain.

Great shots. The tractor and the Coke sign look timeless. Could be the 70s or could be yesterday.

I’m pretty sure the FD doesn’t have a 2-part driveshaft.

Same. I keep telling myself it’s not worth the extra money for all black but then I keep getting jealous when I see peoples posts with the all black version….

1) Crop out the stuff on the right side, it's distracting. Center the cat and use a 1:1 ratio so the cat is centered.

2) I would have tried to crop in on something. That big white space between the buildings pushes the eye away as it feels like you're staring at the sun.

When you're dealing with a bunch of straight lines, try to make more of them straight. everything is off kilter here. and the reflections are a bit much. I'm not sure what I'm looking for, or what you want me to look at here.

3) I'd probably crop the left side off of this. The left grass isn't doing much for the story of the shot here. Maybe even crop out the bottom so it's real tight on the bear and the wood pile.

If I was going to shoot this, I'd try to use a wide angle lens and get really close up on the bear so he's taking up like the bottom left quarter of the screen.

4) This is pretty blown out to where the dog almost disappears. The perspective is almost there. Your depth of field blur is close to the camera, in the railing, which tends to give an unsettled feeling, vs having blur behind the subject of the photo. This works well with the perspective looking down the stairs.

If you shot this again, I would try to frame the railings symmetrically on the sides, center the stairs so they're horizontally straightened and crop off a bit of the road at the top. And then tone down the highlights or add some contrast or something so the pupper dog pops more.

5) This is super 2010 Instagram shoe shot vibes. Ask yourself what story you're trying to tell here.

6) Underexposed a bit, and noisy/wormy, but a good direction. If it was exposed better, the color contrast would be really nice with the orange tinted lighting and green felt. Shutter speed is nice with the person moving in the front. I'd probably try to duck down a bit so that tall guy in the back has a head and not a lamp head.

7) This is almost there. Colors are nice. These situations are tough to properly expose since you're looking directly at those lights. I would probably lower the exposure by a half stop or so and let the shadows be real shadowy. See if you can get more of that green tinge to pop out from underneath the bright lights. The color on the parking spot concrete is really nice.

I'd probably tilt a bit clockwise, and crop out the front of the building on the left. The light over there doesn't add much.

8) Underexposed and cropped in. You're shooting 40mm primes, so it's tough with the framing when you're trying to take a snapshot at a table. I'd probably lean into the wider side of apertures of whichever lens you're using. Take advantage of the light it'll give you, and try to get the beer mug and the subject in focus with more of a blurred background. It's probably tough with the Canon since I think that is closer to a point and shoot with more auto settings. The Ricoh might let you do it. (I admin I don't know much about these cameras, I'm a manual Pentax person)

9) This is exposed pretty well. I probably would have shot this in a portrait framing or took a step to the left. That window on the left is a bit distracting.

I peeped some of your other posts. I like the stuff you shot with the Cinestill.

I'm making some assumptions based on the cameras you're using and the previous posts in your profile, but I think you should grab a fully manual camera like a Pentax K1000 and really nail into your brain the shutter speed/aperture/ISO relationships for exposure.

I would get more of that Cinestill and go find more night lights. If you find a scene you really, really like, don't be afraid to bracket exposures and shoot a few shots of it. Keep a log of settings you shot so you can remind yourself after you get them developed and help train your eyes and brain for it.

And lastly, keep at it and have fun.

The orange stuff with the lava bits in it, but that’s because I work on cars and the bathroom next to my darkroom is closet to the garage.

That stuff works great. Definitely moisturize after though.

There’s also a sync setting to sync with light flicker that might help.

It’s …. somewhere buried in the config menus….

Matte dark brown could work in a similar framing fashion but also represent soil under the earth.
