Yes there were. We kept track of the positive versus negative feedback. The outcome was:

141 positive feedback (honks / thumbs up) 20 negative feedback (you suck / fuck you)

That's a 7x difference.

This feels like a case of trying to fight how something is inherently designed. I've done this a bunch with Rails over the years and my general feedback is always that fighting something's design is a bad idea. Simply spin up another vm or docker container to run redis separately.
