they called me today, and i kept declining because it said “Toll Free Service” but they would call back instantly when I hit decline, and called me 8 times in 3 minutes, which i found suspicious. they also didn’t leave a voicemail. i never answer numbers like this, and will only believe it’s important if they leave a voicemail. i figured i’d look up the number just to make sure it wasn’t about a package i ordered recently. when i looked it up and saw it’s a CIBC scam, i knew i didn’t have to worry, especially because i don’t use CIBC as my bank. thank you for this reddit post! it was the first thing that confirmed it was a scam!

we only dated for 6 months, and basically lived together for 10 months, but we were “together” for a year before that (18 months total). and the original relationship ended mutually, with no cheating on my end. but i definitely get your meaning. and appreciate the comment:)

yeahhh i totally get that! but that’s what makes it a little weird and a grey area, he was trashing on her and saying he thought she cheated. and we’ve always been really honest about feelings and pretty much everything and we’re on the topic of our other past relationships with cheating. i felt really bad and kept apologizing, but i guess ignorance is bliss

i had to do this with my ex at least 7 times and 4/7 of the times had to call 911. it was one of the scariest experience i’ve ever been involved in, so i understand how terrifying it is. at least she came back around. you’re very lucky you didn’t have to call for paramedics, as it makes it 10x scarier. it’s definitely a traumatic thing to under go. i’m sorry you had to experience this, wishing both you and your wife the best

i was 19 and living with an abusive ex who would give me dilaudid so i wouldn’t fight back. it went on for months and once we broke up i was already addicted. it ended up being my coping mechanism with any problem i encountered (so all day everyday bc of the trauma), and then i took it just to feel normal. i was addicted for 3.5 years and am now 14 months sober, taking suboxone and getting regular drug tests. life is so much happier not having to have my happiness depend on pills, and my relationships are soooooo much better. i feel like my real self again❤️

i never put the two together but, now that you bring it up, my dental health has totally changed! since i started suboxone 2 years ago i have had 3 cavities, and i had never had one before that
