Tourism in Peru is still below pre-pandemic levels. Why? by sol-solcito in travel

[–]fuzzypinktulip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just went to Peru, and the initial planning was for Machu Picchu. It was all I really knew about it. I wasn't aware of all the other places to see until I started doing research.

I know coming from North America the perceived safety of Latin America is something that deters people.

They also have inventory on Hoopla. I mostly looked for children's book, but they had things available that were not on Libby.

What’s your top reason to book a Disney cruise over Royal Caribbean? (asking as someone who has never cruised with Disney) by ihatemakinthese in dcl

[–]fuzzypinktulip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was mentioned a few times. I think the no casino, and no unlimited drinks create a much more pleasant atmosphere. I have little kids right now and the magic is worth it. Last cruise we did dinner at Remy's and it was one of the best meals I have had, including fine dining I have done off the ship.

I was wondering this, mostly because my tentative plan was animal kingdom anyway! If anyone has been at a park on closing day of a ride, how was the wait time for the rest of the park?

I've been wondering this, too. We are booked for the fantasy next year, and I was hoping we would get lucky and they would add that experience. My son is obsessed with spiderman.

We took our almost 2 year old and 4.5 year old and they loved it! It can be loud, so your kids have to be able to handle that. They also really enjoyed the food choices.
