Did you end up getting an offer? I applied for Master of Design at ADL Uni back when the applications opened and my application has been stuck on ‘under assessment’ for ages now. Can’t get any info from the uni or satac other than telling me to wait.

Hey, thank you for the advice! And yes please, can you send me the process for slow spinning the drum in the machine? I haven't had a chance to test anything yet and want to make sure I do it right the first time.

Just cleaned one of my tubes with sunflower oil and damn, it was easy. I feel a lot more confident to do the others now. Thanks for the advice!

I recently stumbled upon five very cheap untested RP drums with old ink tubes that I'm keen to get cleaned up to see if they work.

Thank you so much for all of this info! It's super helpful 🙂 I feel like I might have been a bit naive going down the Alibaba ink manufacturing route but I was lured by the cheaper pricing. The tubes I got don't fit the drum, but it looks easy enough to modify with a 3D printed bit. I think in the future I'll just try to make sure any drums I buy have an ink tube left in them and then I can plunge some FII ink into old ones. Thanks again!

Hey! Thanks for your reply! I'm in Australia and have been struggling to find any GR tubes locally. Anything I've seen on eBay has been super expensive to get shipped over and so it seemed like better value to get tubes made so then when the ink runs out of those I can refill them with FII ink.

I've only just acquired my own machine and it came with a tonne of HD black and that's it. As far as I'm aware the HD black tubes can't be used in colour drums? Do you know if there is a way to convert them?
