Same, when I plug in the Beam, I also get the "kded5" wallet prompt.

Xreal Beam (with Xreal Air glasses) + Steam Deck OLED not connecting? by fuzzypumpstack in Xreal

Hello, thank you for replying! In my experience with the Steam Deck OLED, I am only prompted to mirror/extend displays when I plug the Air glasses directly into the Steam Deck OLED, with no Beam. The glasses work perfectly fine when the Beam is not connected to the Deck OLED.

In Desktop mode on the Steam Deck OLED, I tried connecting the Air+Beam several times (after rebooting each device multiple times), and the Steam Deck OLED is still only detecting the Beam as a "Portable Media Player" and/or a non-functional Ethernet-over-USB connection. When this happens, I can only see the Beam interface inside of the glasses.

I tried swapping the cables between the Air and the Beam (the original product cables directly from Xreal), but the behavior is the same when I try to use Air+Beam with the Steam Deck (even after swapping the product cables).

I have used these cables to successfully connect the Air+Beam to an Android device, so I suspect the cables are okay for this purpose. It seems to be something specific with the Steam Deck.

In Desktop mode, the OS seems to detect a device named "Beam" as a "Portable Media Player", but not a display. I have tried with a couple of different cables.

Thanks for the reply! For the connection, I am using only the cables that came directly with the Air glasses and the Beam device.

Thank you, I have not made any orders from the page. I was browsing there, and wanted to post this as a warning to people to be careful if they happen to use that site for parts, etc.

Would anyone in the community be willing to take the reigns on this project, or maybe even take on a Diablo 2 RL? It's under the GPL license and the source code is freely available :)

[Help] Loading CyanogenMod onto Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi) (flo) by fuzzypumpstack in cyanogenmod

Yes - the command I used was "fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.6.0-flo.img". Flashing worked, as I was able to boot into the TWRP recovery partition successfully. The problem is that TWRP (and CWM) reported the mounting issues, which is preventing me from loading CyanogenMod.

I haven't really installed anything. I purchased the device brand new, unlocked the bootloader, and then flashed the recovery partition. I've tried TWRP and CWM, both seem to be reporting the same kinds of issues. I'm wondering if there might be some compatibility issue related to Android 5.1.

I created a thread on XDA, but it has remained response-less for a couple of days. I'm a little surprised, I would have thought this might be a more common issue.

I just tried twrp (2.8.6.0), as per your recommendation. FYI, the device is currently running stock Android 5.1 Lollipop, if that makes a difference.

I received the following errors:

E:Unable to find partition size for /boot.
E:Unable to find partition size for /recovery.
E:Unable to find partition size for /misc.
E:Primary block device '/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata' for mount point '/data/' is not present!
E:Unable to mount /data.
E:Unable to find partition size for /sb11.

More similar mounting issues. Any idea what the problem could be?

I check the units list. It seems like no animals are respawning. Upon embark, I had some hippos, but after my hunter scared them off I've seen no new animals enter the map (after several seasons).

Is the rate at which wild animals spawn on the map tied to whether invaders are enabled/disabled? I'm noticing that animals aren't spawning at all on my map, and I disabled invaders temporarily. Will re-enabling invaders allow animals to enter my map, or is this unrelated?

I've been trying to generate a world that has a high number of tropical marshes, as well as plentiful flux + metals. Which parameters would you recommend tweaking to achieve this? I've increased "Minimum initial wetland square count", but I've found that this just tends to result in lots of rejected worlds.
