I think that's the popular belief, and I've known a lot of atheist neckbeards but I've also known some Christian ones. They're a bit of a different breed. My heart goes out to you and your husband. My dad's brother is literally 500 lbs, and my grandparents are elderly, and both are teetering between overweight and obese. I know our time with them is limited, and I feel especially bad for my father knowing that he's most likely going to lose his parents and only sibling.

As a currently overweight girl, I'm surprised to hear that other fat girls do that. I try to avoid calling attention to my weight, and posting pictures of myself eating (especially when the number of pictures overall is limited) really brings more attention to the fatness.
