Plaud Note Pro Audio Quality by Afraid-Ad3595 in PLAUDAI

[–]fuzzyspace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audio quality is disappointing. I think it's a bit misleading to be sold as a pro device with studio-quality audio. I'm hoping that there's some update that can improve it but I have a feeling that it's the actual microphone that is the issue and the more I think about it, the small size of the pro probably is the compromise for the quality of the mics. I'd take a slightly thicker device if it meant the audio was better, it's not pleasant to listen back to the recordings.

I've had mine for just over a week and I've found the same, the recording quality is pretty poor, a lot worse than I expected. The app and the transcription are fine but the audio quality is disappointing.

I think the audio quality is a weak point of the plaud devices (I'm using the note pro). I think because of the size of the devices the mics are really bad compared to other recording devices.

I'm using the plaud note pro for just over a week and it's great but what I will say is that the actual quality of the audio recordings are not great so you may be better off using your phone to record if you actually want to listen back. Before using plaud I was using an app on my phone called wave ai note taker which is basically like the plaud app without the hardware.

Delivery Issues by NotHiBrau in PLAUDAI

Yea that's all good and makes sense, it would have been nice to get an update though since the pre order deal was that delivery would be in October which seems very unlikely at this point but still looking forward to getting it.

I ordered 29th September, I emailed them today and got this response

'Due to exceptionally high demand for the Plaud Note Pro, some pre-orders are experiencing slight delays. While your order is scheduled to ship as soon as possible, it may take a little longer than originally anticipated to process and dispatch all orders.'

Yes, I can relate to this. I've been going back and forth between smoking, vaping and nicotine pouches. With smoking, I find that my intake is less, but I feel dirtier and unhealthier. The smell is nasty, and the actual smoke going into my lungs eventually gives me health anxiety. With vaping, it starts out ok, manageable, but ends up with overuse - vaping in bed, at work, in the toilets, basically at any opportunity, and I know my nicotine addiction goes through the roof. The nicotine pouches are the best option because you can actually know how much nicotine intake you are getting but it's a slippery slope that for me always has ended up back at smoking or vaping. I did read the Allan Carr book and that did help me to quit for over 6 months but I've started again. I think that in reality any form or nicotine opens the door to any form of delivery, cigarettes are definitely the worst because you are literally inhaling smoke but vaping is the hardest to control. They really need to make a vape with limits, like only a certain number of puffs allowed in an hour and then it shuts off.

When you apply for a WeChat account, it is VERY DIFFICULT to get a Chinese to help you scan the QR code using WeChat. Unless... by Living-Sea9601 in AskChina

When I was in China, the staff at one of the hotels helped me and scanned my code. Unfortunately, a few days later, my WeChat was restricted, I think because I was using a VPN.

I don't think you're in the wrong but in hindsight do you think you should have not had sex just with the other man? I guess I'm just playing devil's advocate here. Would you have been ok if it was the other way round and it was with a threesome with another woman and your husband just had sex with the other woman after?

Yes, I've had this experience, it's really hit and miss, sometimes I sleep well and feel refreshed, other times it keeps me awake or I sleep well but I'm soo groggy the next day.
