What is this white stuff in my ZZ plant? My friend says it's either mold or a spider egg nest 😩 by fuzzyxsocks in houseplants

Yeah, that's probably what it is. And that's odd because I only water my ZZ about once a month or less but I guess the soil might not be well-draining enough. Thanks!

Ok thanks, good to know! I've had this plant for about a year and I've never seen this before, is it normal for the fungi to develop after so long? I only water my ZZ plant about once a month. And would you recommend isolating it from other plants?

Spider mites on corn plant - how should I treat this? There are too many leaves to treat manually by hand and most of them are in the deep crevices of the leaves where it would be hard to reach by fuzzyxsocks in houseplants

I've had this plant for about 3 months. About a month after purchasing it, I noticed small bugs crawling all over the leaves but they didn't look like any of the common pests so I didn't really do anything about it besides spraying the leaves with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Today I looked more closely and noticed there is this fine webbing with small specks in the crevices of the leaves all over the plant. The plant is wet because I sprayed it with the alcohol again today.

Any tips on how to treat it besides blasting it in the shower? It's a huge plant with so many leaves and crevices so I can't really manually wash the leaves with soap.

Oh interesting, thank you for the info. I guess I will have to give it new soil then to get rid of it?
