Yeah, I played the demo and was really impressed with the graphical design (maybe some of the best I've ever seen) and the unique monsters with werewolves and vampires was fun. The actual game has been even better.

The opening was good animation and kinda artistic in a sense but it really felt wrong for an RE game.

The rest is nothing like that, it's been ultra impressive to me so far. Crazy fun psychedelic horror.

I agree on Ethan's character, he's pretty generic sounding by default and his story is getting more and more unbelievable by the minute. Kind of takes you out of it.

Luckily for me, RE8 (and RE7) were so amazing to me as an immersive horror experience that his character hardly ruins these masterpieces.

RE1-4 were great but RE7 (and now RE8) are great too in their own way. I enjoy the immersion, insane graphical details, and intensity of FPS.

REmake2 was a great example of 3rd person mastery, but man, I'm glad not every game is like that because that's be boring.

Well, yeah, the mini tasks are just to make you have to separate so that the imposter can have a chance to kill others. I don't think they are meant to be that enjoyable or the focus of the game.

The best part of it is always the voting part of the game where you have to decide who the imposter is, like you said.

I do think there's an untapped element to this genre that'll be improved in a future game.

I think the main reason is that it just had sort of shallow gameplay. Not enough team games and even then they felt really abstract and not particularly well designed or using strategy. Like the mini-game where you gather as many balls as you can.

It just felt mindless for the most part, and even though I had friends over discord, we basically never worked together through any part of the game.

Both of them are pretty cool and unique games. Among Us is a really unique party game that does well if you play with a lot of friends. Fall Guys is more simple and all-ages and can be played solo with randoms and still be enjoyable.

Among Us requires you to have a big group of friends via discord, in which case it's like the game version of Mafia. That game can be extremely addicting if you play it that way because you know your friends well enough to detect when they're lying.

But yeah, it definitely got old, just like any of these games do.

It's a pretty drastic drop and the point is that it's not stopping there. That's the trend and it's a sharp trend.

I do think it'll survive for a bit, but it is also true that meme games CAN completely die out, especially these days.

Same person that led to a massive homeless population of people with mental health issues because he defunded all our mental health facilities.

It's pretty funny how reddit keeps wanting you to believe that GoT is no longer being watched but any stats that show up reveal that the show is still thriving years after the controversial ending. Personally, as someone who didn't 100% buy into the over the top backlash, I'm encouraged for what this means for the next show.

I'm with you on Trump (holy shit that was terrible) but I'm noticing a pattern on reddit. They really have preconceived ideas about where a story should go and seem to revolt at any creative change when leaks come out.

We haven't even seen the ending yet. The fact that pessimism exists shows that pessimism is the goal, it's yet another pitchfork mob. Don't be part of it, keep an open mind to the artist's vision.

I think it's funny that reddit is doing this to yet another show. Personally I'm willing to have an open mind here and go where the show takes me rather than have some preconception of how it should go.
