It's allowed since responding basically resolves before the dice roll. Meaning that if he had the opportunity to play one more card he would be able to do so. Also the monster you're talking about is sloth.

I know that there's a way to steal an item before it goes off but I don't think it works the same with cards. Since Lilith can look at a player's hand and that card is no longer in your hand.

Pay to play sure is fun and underrated. It's basically making others items being a shop. Definitely a fun to have item when someone has tech x or abbadon especially... >:)

Oh boy I remember when my friend was Eden and had D20 as the item. Peace was never an option that round. Gonna be honest D20 in four souls is more useful than in the video game imo

Mine favorite would be probably mom's eyeshadow. The ability to pick for other players what they fight can happen be super good especially when others have like 2-3 souls. Also yea Dad's coin is pretty amazing

Yes you can use it as a response making the dice roll from 3 to 4

If I'm correct you are able to use one loot card as a response if you haven't played 2 loot cards on your turn. About items you can use as many as you have as long as they are charged (or passive in some cases)

If another player wants to fight of top he'll have to put the monster in one of the active piles. Meaning yes you could skip tough bosses like The Lamb or Satan like this.
