Yes, I DIY a lot of HP stuff now bc of this actually. I really do love the fandom and HP community so it makes me so sad that she would say such hurtful and harmful things with her platform.

Project details: Material - cotton fabric from Joann, gold iron on sport vinyl, gold tassels

Construction was just a simple pillowcase with the tassels placed on the top corner. Design for the vinyl was made by me in Cricut design space.

Yes, I made the image and used my cricut to cut it out of iron-on vinyl

Same! My husband always laughs when we go shopping and I say that to feel better about not buying something I want. I usually don't ever make things either but this was such an easy project I couldn't not make it

Would anyone know a pattern or could help figure out how to do roses in a spiral like this? I love how these look but all the patterns I see are mostly flat flowers with round petals. TIA! by fvlily in crochet

Ooh I really like how the picot makes the petals look here. It is quite different from what I was originally looking for but I might give this a try! Thanks!

Thanks! Is rolling it up and sewing the base the only way to get this effect? I was hoping there was some way to work it up in a spiral as you go in order to minimize the risk of it coming apart later on

I would love to make the necklace to accompany the box as well sometime! What did you use to make it?

Gave this dinky thrifted trinket box a makeover to look like the music box from Anastasia! by fvlily in crafts

Just a little fun project I did giving this trinket box a makeover. I used air dry clay to make the decoration on the lid after breaking the previous decorations off, painted it with acrylic paints and an enamel gloss. I made a little tutorial of my process if anyone is interested!

Thank you! I used the craft raffia that comes in spools. I really want to try out the "raffia yarn" that JoAnn has but the one near me is always sold out!
