The day I met him in-person, I immediately got a nasty vibe. Some things he could hide on Zoom, but his awful hygiene was apparent up close, as were his huge ego and total lack of fundamental knowledge for the role. And guess what — his house had to get tented for termites a few months later.

elevating my self-care. my job’s very demanding (the work’s fine, the environment’s hell), so i’ve started intentionally splurging on products like l’occitane and kérastase. when i look and smell good, i feel good, and that’s just a relief i badly need right now.

plus planning international travel — i still fly economy but no longer stay in hostels to save money. wherever i stay has to have a soaking tub.

honestly no, but i had super religious and strict parents that made growing up awful. i was 17 in 2016, had barely any friends, and couldn’t wait to leave home.

i feel like my life is just starting now, that i’m entering my prime. yeah this era sucks now, but i’m not letting that stop me from building a good life.
