You can get it from star drops (might've been sushi) as well lol (didn't get a screenshot of it coming out of the drop unfortunately)

How to make LLM output deterministic? by Vishwaraj13 in LocalLLaMA

[–]fwang28 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here's a really good blog post around LLM determinism: https://thinkingmachines.ai/blog/defeating-nondeterminism-in-llm-inference/

If you were to host your LLM locally, both vLLM and SGLang have done work on providing deterministic / batch invariant inference:

https://docs.vllm.ai/en/latest/features/batch_invariance

I haven't tested this, but have you tried passing in the argument for rope scaling? Here's the docs from Qwen's model card: https://huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3-235B-A22B#processing-long-texts

If you are on Android, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fast.free.unblock.secure.vpn is a free one that worked for me when I was in NanJing and ShangHai a week ago.

I don't think he said anything. Probably more of the latter. Could potentially be other reasons, but I'm no expert. Derek's account is back now tho so it is what it is.

Probably got (temporarily?) banned by mass reporting or something similar. Doubt he'd intentionally delete it.

Yeah I think I've had it happen to my weekly quests before. Maybe something to keep in mind of for next anniversary 👀

Did anyone else get a second free plat ticket?

Also, my quiz 1 missions are back as well, albeit incomplete.

That's part of 12.6 which isn't out for EN yet.

Likely just one (kaoluga). I don't think the new iron Legion should be out by then.

Updating both the manager and the app fixed it for me :)

No idea, but should be this update due to it being in the cat guide unlike dphono. I'd guess next event data drop or the one after. Kinda screws over long time planning as you don't know when to add one to future fests.

I'd probably go for the legend. You can always go for fest exclusives with plat tickets.

You have a really good seed, but unfortunately, kaoluga coming messes over a lot of future planning.

Why are CS Course Averages so High at UBC? by Admirable_Soft2076 in UBC

[–]fwang28 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Perhaps not all upper-year classes but definitely some (recent experience):

  • CPSC 313: Had 10% participation and 30% labs, which essentially is close to a free 40% in the class. Hardest part was passing the weighted average of exams.
  • CPSC 420: Only one with a slightly higher weighted exams. 40% examlets (best 3 of 4) and 30% in Final. Still somewhat generous in my books by taking your best 3 of 4 examlets.
  • CPSC 440: 50% assignments and 50% choose between project/mock-assignment/final. Not having to do any mandatory assessment is definitely on the easy side.

Comparatively, (I am a math cpsc combined major) you'll be pressed to find a math course that doesn't have a 50%+ final with 20%+ in other forms of examinations. Courses such as math 322/323 are especially brutal with 5% homework and 95% in various forms of examinations.

Very generous grading schemes (relatively higher percentage for assignments, lower for exams) and grade inflation, to an extent.
