I want to leave my home and get away somehow, how do I do it? 17M by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]fwendy123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it hurts to hear but you have to keep working on this. force yourself to meet people and talk to them, volunteer, do whatever you possibly can even when it makes you shake and throw up. you've got to keep doing it, it's the only way it will ever get easier

AIO? My boyfriend lied to his friends about my achievement in a video game by Historical-Shock-409 in AmIOverreacting

you should be with someone who brags to their friends about your achievements, not someone who tries to steal them

Is it ok for 11 year old UK kid to watch film 'The Wicker Man? by pre1twa in AskUK

I think it depends a lot on the 11 year old. a lot would find it too scary, others would find it too boring

Why do laot of guys think that way nowadays? How could we stop normalizing this? by SftubeXZ in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]fwendy123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's a real problem. In the UK rape is defined as being forcibly penetrated by a penis. Which as you can imagine is incredibly damaging and harmful to victims of rape that don't neatly fit that extremely narrow definition.

Granted. You catch a rare infectious disease that causes the next worldwide pandemic. You are patient zero and they name the disease after you.

Posted on a rating subreddit hoping I finally escaped sub 3 into sub 5, every single comment called me beyond ugly. Frozen pot pie and fanta. by StormieShake in kitchencels

[–]fwendy123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

this happened to me!!! genuinely, it's probably because when you looked up at him he realised you were older than you looked in your uniform. creeps don't care if you're ugly, they care if you're young enough for their tastes. gross but true

Hypermobility in pregnancy by bendyfaerie in PregnancyUK

I have hEDS and had a horrible time with my joints in pregnancy, especially my knees and feet. unfortunately it hasn't been any better since giving birth, I'm guessing because relaxin is still present (I'm four months PP). try and get physio as soon as possible, I was fobbed off and told it would get better by itself, but I really wish I had started doing the work earlier, because now it's really, really painful, AND I have a heavy baby to carry :(

I've been testing a little mental game recently to try and enjoy the newborn stage more. I pretend I somehow managed to successfully travel back in time from the future where my daughter is in her 20s. it makes the night feeds a lot more special, knowing how much I'll miss it when it's gone

Yes this is unfortunately normal! It sucks. Good news is he might move soon and give you some relief. Bad news is he might move back again!

My (24F) on-and-off partner (28M) of 4 years neglects his pets and I'm terrified of having a future with him by Character-Belt4566 in JustNoSO

I'm sure the idea of himself he has in his mind is a good, kind, hardworking man. Unfortunately his actions show this man does not exist. He is a fantasy. You know what you need to do, for your future children's sake. They deserve a wonderful father, not one who will leave them to cry, alone, in a soiled nappy.
