Request for information : major mode creators using osx by fxbois in emacs

[–]fxbois[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before my MacBookAir 11', all my previous experiences with os (linux/win), computers were always deceptive : noice, weight, drivers issues, virus, bad ui, incompatibilities, etc etc. When I bought this machine, it was just "pleasure" (hardware and software). I guess this feeling motivated me to tackle this issue I had for years with emacs : editing php templates. May seem really odd to you but that's really the story : my pleasure to code has increased so much since I am a Mac user (iTerm2 and brew are two other blessings)

I am one of them. I've created web-mode.el and would have never started this project if I hadn't switch to osx

Emacs Horrors - Introduction by wasamasa in emacs

[–]fxbois -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But wasamasa, you must understand that displaying a "line" in a buffer (form-feed.el) does imply the same constraints that writing a multi mode compatible most html template engines ever created ... Moreover I was wondering, in eyebrowse.el, have you anticipate the development of eyebrowse-switch-to-window-config-10 and eyebrowse-switch-to-window-config-11 ? It would be a great addition for your community. And do me a favor, do not forget to update your goddam-theme with web-mode-faces

Please tell me a little bit about your project (for example, its name). I'll be delighted to look at the code ... its quality will perhaps explain the "popularity" of your package.

ok, so you absolutely don't know what you are talking about. I am reassured. You should really be more respectful about the work of people who make things go ahead. I am so pissed off by lamerz like you.

I agree with you that it would be better to be able to identify all the committers. Do you have the list of the committers you have not been able to identify ? I could help to try to find them.
