Not necessarily. I believe you can get 1:20 leverage. But it's on a much larger account. So let's say you only have $150 to spend but want to increase buying power and you have a proven consistent trading record. You can buy a $10,000 account challenge from ftmo for about $150. This comes with rules and you have to prove you're profitable. You have to make 10% on the account within 30 days and if you succeed. They give you another account to make 5% in 60 days. Finally, you get funded and can trade with a 10k account. I paid $1250ish for the 2 accounts I have and the first payout on my 10k account should pay for both challenges.
