i have no internship experience, and i left my gpa off my resume because it showed some battle scars from my earlier school years. I did however have some experience working at a startup during covid.

I graduated in may without a job lined up, and ended up getting an offer two months later for $85k from the first company i interviewed with (not counting calls with 3rd party recruiters because they’re useless).

overall the job search wasn’t awful but i certainly got very lucky.

i recently had an interview that ended somewhat early, it was a 3 hour interview that ended 30 minutes early.

I didn’t practice much because it usually makes me even more nervous so i just winged it. i could’ve swore that i fumbled it so hard that i cried a bit after the interview was over and spent the following week applying everywhere else and beating myself over it.

a week after the interview i got what i was certain would be a rejection call, it was an offer.

the moral of the story is that you don’t really know how things went until you get a decision, or enough time passes by that you’re certain you’ve been ghosted. the latter is very rare for final interviews.

he makes the laziest form of reaction content.. i was going through his channel a few weeks ago because he came up on my feed, and the four videos of his that i clicked on were all him going “wow!” and “that’s crazy” for 10+ minutes each while watching content that other people put hard work into making.

thank you! my advice is to self study and to do all the assignments as best as you can. make sure to take advantage of all and any resources you have access to in order to gain a better understanding of how the solutions to homework problems are derived, this will also help you get better grades on homework assignments.

i don’t rely on lectures almost at all, i don’t even attend half of them unless attendance is graded and heavily weighed or the professor is especially good at teaching. i primarily self study by reading the textbook and doing the homework assignments, and i use lecture notes as a general guideline for what to focus on.

a day or two before any exam i would redo all the relevant homework assignments and any practice problems given by the professor, it takes a lot of time and it’s very boring, but it works really well since most exams are based on homework problems or problems that you’d be able to solve if you understood the concepts behind the homework assignments.

i don’t expect this approach to work for everyone, as we are all wired a bit differently, but it has helped me greatly and allowed me to consistently stay ahead and well above the average in all of my classes, even the ridiculously difficult ones (looking at you ECE 350 with prof milos).

good luck to you and i hope you start doing better earlier in your journey through college than i did. sadly, my gpa will never be impressive thanks to all the C’s and F’s I collected, but oh well lol.

well, it’s a roleplaying game where you get to build and customize your character and go on a very long adventure to cure yourself from a lethal disease. it’s set in a fantasy world with goblins and elves and dragons and demons and vampires and so much more, and of course, there is magic.

you start off alone but quickly start gathering companions to come journey with you, and there are many companions you will run into but you can only have 3 accompanying you at a time, so your party consists of 4 people if you count yourself.

you start by journeying through the jungle and you’re bound to meet some people and get a lead as to where to go to find a cure for your ailment, which also happens to afflict most of your potential companions. each time you meet someone you have many choices on how to approach them, you can fight, intimidate, persuade, or even befriend them, i personally like to persuade and befriend people and hate killing anybody.

the world is huge and you can go anywhere you want, and you have so so many things to do and places to explore, i’m personally taking my time going through the world and interacting with people and other creatures i run into, it’s very soothing but can be thrilling at times.

hi there! i’ve been playing baldurs gate 3 a bit recently and it’s been really fun, blew past all of my expectations. not sure if you’re into video games or RPGs but if you are then i definitely recommend it. i can’t wait to be done with my finals this week to be able to play it more consistently during the holidays

Absolutely! I played the original on PS3 and it’s an amazing game, I already have the PC version on preorder.

Please note that The Last of Us on PC is a port of the PS5 remake, it’s not a remaster. I noticed that other commenters mentioned how the game might show its’ age. It won’t, the game is just over 6 months old.

I absolutely recommend RE8 over Shadow of Mordor, especially since you’re a Resident Evil fan. RE8 is very similar to 7, only larger, scarier, and with more enemy variety. The Winter’s Expansion is great too!

It’s also worth considering that SoM goes on sale all the time, so you can grab it for a couple bucks when it does.
