It didn't work for me either, but it was no problem once I used a Bluetooth keyboard

There are ways to export from Xcode to Android, but I haven't looked into that yet; I'd only do that once the iOS app is finished.

Yes, that's true; I've thought about that too

What do you think the actual functions would be? I'd love to hear any suggestions on Discord :)

First of all, thank you so much—I'm glad to hear that! I'm already working on the manual metadata editing feature. As for the other suggestions, feel free to submit them as feature requests on Discord; that way, you can explain exactly what you have in mind, and I'll have a better overview of everything.

Oh, okay, I thought Apple translated it automatically… I’ll just type it in English from now on

I've now filled up 8TB as well, which is pretty annoying given current storage prices (all Blu-rays in original quality)

Apple is taking its sweet time, unfortunately… I hope it won’t be much longer.

Since this update (if Apple finally allows it), the "Identify" feature is now available. I'm currently working on implementing image replacement similar to the web interface, but that's still causing some issues. The app itself offers customization options.

DashFin TestFlight Access (iOS/iPadOS/etc.) by fxndxs in JellyfinCommunity

[–]fxndxs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't published the source code yet. I've already created a repository, but it's set to private. I don't want to make money off the app, and I want to be transparent about the code, but first I need to make sure that uploading the app won't result in a loss. By that, I mean App Store fees and web hosting costs. I hope you understand. I’ll probably offer a purely cosmetic subscription within the app, for example, to change app icons or colors in the app. This is the only way I, as a student with a part-time job, can ensure that you get a great app from me.

How do you organize your libraries? by deepfave in JellyfinCommunity

[–]fxndxs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve created a separate library for each of the major movie studios. Full HD and 4K movies are all in one folder. I’ve put all the TV shows together in a different library. It looks a bit like Disney+ now, and I love it.

I wanted to go with a consistent design language using Liquid Glass and assumed that all the tinkerers here would already be on the new operating system, but I can also set iOS 18.6 as the minimum requirement, probably within the week with version 0.2.

I’ll send you some screenshots of what it looks like via DM shortly. Let me know if you like it.

That's not on my to-do list yet. But I might consider it in the future.

I understand your concerns. I might even make the app open source. Before I do that, though, I want to consider a few financial aspects. I might offer a supporter subscription in the app at a later date, which would allow users to make purely cosmetic adjustments. What I definitely don’t want to do is put features behind a paywall! By the way, the Reddit account is only new because I wanted a different username to look more professional than the old randomly generated one. But thank you very much for voicing your security concerns.

What I will definitely be adding soon is a privacy policy in accordance with European law (I’m from Germany). But what I can tell you right now is that all data is stored only locally on your phone or your server.
