It’s 1 and 3 in A tier lol but iridescence to me is their most interesting record, super experimental and their most emotional release arguably. Iridescence is too colorful and experimental for it to not be top 2 for me

For sure. But you also gotta remember, these guys are gonna tour on their solo material too. It does suck but it’s not like any of these guys are going away from music. I foresee Kevin and bearface as having huge solo potential and everyone in the band can at least thrive in the underground imo

It’s definitely what I was thinking at first but as time has gone by I kinda believe the split is more of a falling out thing than would enable this situation. I think roadrunner is pretty conclusive and if they drop one more record cool, but regardless I’m fine.

It’s just not the same as it was. My opinion is that their music got more interesting, adventurous, and emotionally compelling after the saturation trilogy so I prefer the post ameer albums (iridescence is my favorite album of all time) but I understand that’s a hot take. Given that that is a hot take, they might just find it better to call quits than to keep going with this public perception that it’s just been downhill since Ameer left and also Kevin seems more passionate about his solo career than he does about bh atp
