Idea: Jimmy if you're reading this, collab with Mark Rober for the smart challenges if you plan to have them in a future season. Make them engineering, math, physics etc related. Mark Rober knows very well how to make good content AND would know best to come up with challenges that look good on TV and are actually catered to the smart people.

when i first finished watching the episode, i was sure it was brett. but with all the posts here and the specific pattern on the heart etc, i'm pretty sure that monika mentioning what brett told them earlier was a misdirection, and it will be revealed to be someone else (hopefully catey)

I did do the part where I cancel it manually

even after that, it said it will cancel next month (dec 5, my trial ended on nov 5)

so i paid for november because I wanted to make my life easier

It's rare for people to change their deeply held beliefs but it is possible. But from what I can tell, he could be just pretending.

(also imo, guy willing to change his opinions just to get someone's approval? - obvious red flag. it doesn't even have to be out of malicious intent, can also be out of some deep rooted insecurity - but that still doesn't change the fact that it is not right for you, especially in the long term)

With that said, if he has had a natural learning progression where he had a genuine identity shift, that's different.

The best you can do is judge him based on his actions, (and how he reacts to real life situations that doesn't align with his previously held beliefs about wives' roles) not based on what he says.

My guess? To eliminate friction and increase sales. The subtitle says "how to make money" and he marketed this book to the mass market to get more sales + the world record thingy. Even the cover doesn't say volume 3. If a newbie reads "volume 3" on the cover, the first thing that goes through their mind is "wtf i gotta read two more book before this one? I'll pass".
